| Purpose To compare cortex phellodendri qushi decoction and western medicine(left cetirizine hydrochloride) clinical efficacy and safety for the treatment of eczema of damp-heat type. Preliminary discussion on cortex phellodendri qushi decoction mechanism for the treatment of eczema.Methods All the 60 patients are in line with the diagnostic criteria for eczema of wuhan hospital dermatology outpatient, accord with eczema syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome. They were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, treatment group 30 and control group 30 people. The age, gender, length of the course of the disease, the lesion severity index(EASI) score of the patients in the two groups are no significant difference(P >0.05), the cases of the two groups are comparable. Treatment group oral cortex phellodendri qushi decoction, of essential drugs: cortex phellodendri 10 g, radix scutellariae 6 g, glabrous greenbrier rhizome 15 g, cortex dictamni 10 g,original 10 g, schisandra 6 g, cicada 6 g, bupleurum 6 g, licorice root 6 g, angelica sinensis 10 g, radix rehmanniae 10 g, red paeony root 10 g, Gardenia 6 g,gardenia dandelion 15 g, honeysuckle stem 10 g, cogongrass rhizome 20 g. 200 ml/time, 2 times/day, in the morning and evening,two weeks for one period of treatment. Control the western medicine group, oral antihistamines left cetirizine hydrochloride 5 mg/time, 1 time a night, 2 weeks for one course of treatment. Through clinical effectiveness, lesion area and extent, levels before and after treatment of itching, etc to assess the incidence of adverse reactions, statistical processing, observe the effectiveness of cortex phellodendri qushi decoction syndrome eczema, security.Results(1) compare two groups of EASI rating score values before and after treatment, the treatment group compared with control group in the two groups before treatment P >0.05, no significant difference; EASI score lower than the control group after treatment group after treatment EASI scores, by test, P<0.01,there are significant differences that cortex phellodendri qushi decoction can significantly relieve eczema skin lesion area and extent.(2) the pruritus score comparison: the treatment group compared with control group in the two groups before treatment P > 0.05, there was no significant difference; Two weeks after the treatment of treatment group compared with control group P < 0.05, there are significant differences, indicates that the treatment group can better relieve itching degree of patients than the control group.(3) efficient comparison: the treatment group healed in 5 cases, 12 cases had marked effect, 10 cases were improved, 3 had no effect, the efficient is 90.00%; The control group recovered in 2 cases, 8 cases were markedly effective, improvement in 13 cases, 7 cases had no effect, the effectiveness is 76.67%, the effectiveness of the treatment group is higher than the control group. Compare the efficient of the two groups, by the X2 test, P < 0.05, the difference was statistically significant, that the curative effect of the treatment group is better than the control group.(4) incidence of adverse reactions: treatment group in 4 cases, the incidence of adverse reactions was 13.33%, 3 cases of control group, incidence of adverse reactions was 10.00%, the treatment group and control group by chi-square test, P > 0.05, the difference was not statistically significant.Conclusion The clinical observation showed that the topic, cortex phellodendri qushi decoction in the treatment of syndrome of eczema, the patient’s skin condition, degree of itching, and other indicators are got good improved, the curative effect was better than the control group, it has the advantage of good clinical curative effect without significant side effects. The clinical application is proved effective, safe, and is worthy of popularization and application. |
