The Clinical Observation On NO.1 Chinese Traditional Fumigation And Washing Recipe Prevent Peripheral Neurotoxicity Caused By Oxaliplatin

PurposeStudy on external agreement in our department of prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicine fumigating and washing effect, for the prevention of oxaliplatin induced peripheral neurotoxicity and safety, try to explore its clinical application value, for the prevention and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy(CIPN) treatment method.MethodsIn 2013 December to 2015 January hospitalized in our hospital oncology, pathology confirmed the diagnosis of digestive system malignant tumor, chemotherapy containing oxaliplatin need for systemic chemotherapy patients according to the inclusion criteria were randomly into group. The final qualified cases (minus the loss case) in 65 cases, including 32 cases and 33 cases in the control group, preventive group. Prevention group of patients in our department fumigation of Chinese medicine fumigating and washing hands and feet first, hind feet, water temperature 40-50 degrees 20 minutes, each fumigation, fumigation after wearing gloves, socks. Each preventive intervention from the chemotherapy before the start of the day, once a day, continuous 15 days for a course of treatment. The control group with warm water instead of traditional Chinese medicine fumigating and washing, other steps with the same treatment group.The clinical trials were conducted for prevention and intervention,3 treatment courses of 4 times of observation and evaluation (before entering the group, the first course of treatment, after second courses of treatment, after third courses), a detailed record of neurotoxicity grading, KPS score, QOL score, NCS diagnosis and so on.Use SPSS16.0 statistical software analysis data,after the test.Results1. The prevention and intervention of traditional Chinese medicinefumigation, can effectively inhibit the decrease of nerve conduction velocity and amplitude,delay the degeneration of nerve cells.That after preventive herbal fumigation party intervention can effectively relieve the nerve celldegeneration, reduce can delay the nerve conduction velocity and amplitude.ConclusionsIn Department of external agreement of prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicine fumigating and washing, no obvious adverse cutaneous reactions, has obvious curative effect onprevention of oxaliplatin induced peripheral neurotoxicity, can greatly improve the patientssurvival quality, delay the irreversible degeneration of nerve cells, inhibition of nerve conduction velocity and amplitude of the downward trend.
