Clinical Study Of Self-made Quanduanbanguidanqi Capsule In The Treatment Of Senile Female Osteoporosis

Objective:To research the clinical therapeutic effects of Quanduanbanguidanqi capsule on senile female primary osteoporosis, to analyse the changing of bone mineral density(BMD), Visual Analog Scales(VAS)score,estrogen,cytokine and the clinical security.Methods:Select 40 cases of senile female primary osteoporosis patients met the inclusion criteria in Chang Shu hospital affiliated to Nanjing Traditional Medicine University(within the period of January 2013 to June 2014), randomly divided them into treatment group and control group. Patients is treated with 4 pills Quanduanbanguidanqi capsule in treatment group thrice a day; and all patients in both group is treated with Caltrate D,600mg,once a day; calcitriol,0.25ug,twice a day. Course of treatment was 4 months.The changes of bone mineral density(BMD), Visual Analog Scales(VAS)score, estrogen, IL6 and TNFa were observed before the treatment and 4 months after the treatment.Results:1、Each group before and after treatment, security indicators of blood, urine, fecal routine,liver and renal function, electrocardiogram examination no significant abnormalities.2、Bone density of treatment group improved a little than before, but not apparently improved in control group, but there are apparent difference between the 2 groups。3、Changes of Visual Analog Scales(VAS)score:comparison within the 2 groups, the results improved than before, and the treatment group improved more than control group。4、Comparison of the biochemical index:there is no obvious decrease of E2 concentrations in treatment groups and control group,and there are no apparent difference between the 2 groups. Obvious serum IL-6 concentrations reduced within the 2 groups after theatment, but there are no apparent difference between the 2 groups. The serum TNF-alpha concentrations obviously within the 2 groups, and there are apparent difference between the 2 groups,treatment groups reduced more than control groups.Conclusion:Quanduanbanguidanqi capsule can effectively relieve clinical symptoms, improve cytokine levels. Besides, it is safe and worth clinical application.
