The Research Of Professor Zhou Zhong Ying Treating Chronic Kidney Disease From Stasis Heat Based On Data Mining

[Aim] In this study, a new cognition of the pathogenesis of chronic kidney disease (CKD) is brought forward on the basis of clinical practice of Professor Zhou Zhong-ying, who is a medical master in China, which is about "dampness-heat-stasis-toxin". We deeply-excavate the evolution and combination rules of pathogenesis, including stasis, dampness, heat, wind, phlegm, toxic, muddy and deficiency in CKD on the basis of a large number of Professor Zhou’s medical cases, by means of data mining techniques and medical epidemiologic methods. Moreover, we standardized the legislation, prescription and herbal laws in CKD, and focused on Professor Zhou’s clinical experiences of treating CKD according to syndrome differentiation from the aspect of stasis and heat.[Method] The medical cases of the outpatients in CKD treated by Professor Zhou were collected from 2003 to 2010. These cases were listed systematically and filtered seriously by the inclusive and exclusive criteria. There are 75 cases in accordance with the criteria (totally 108 times treatments). Data of cases collection and storage about the 75 cases were established using data mining system of Medcase V3.2 Canggong Zhengji Guoyi Mai’an. The relationships of syndrome, pathogenesis and herbs were analyzed by strength-associated rules data mining of operational model and the results were summarized.[Results] There are 40 males and 35 females in the 75patients. The oldest one is 82 years old, the youngest one is 9 years old and the average age is 56.3 years old. Each age segment distributes unevenly in the cases. There are 26 cases in the age from 40 to 49 (24.07%), and 21 cases in the age from 70 to 79 (19.44%).In symptoms, lumbago, dry mouth, fatigue and lower extremity edema, which are the main symptoms of CKD, account for 37.03%,27.77%,26.85% and 24.07%, respectively. In pathogenesis, the frequency of heat is the highest (91.66%), following dampness, renal deficiency, stasis and yin damage. In herbal administration, the herbs used more than 50 times are Radix Rehmanniae Recen, Smilax Glabra Rhizome, Cortex Phellodendri, Rhizoma Alismatis, Serissa Foetida, and Euonymus Alatus, while the herbs used more than 30 times are Cornus, Herba Lycopi, Poria, Fried Herb, Astragalus, Anemarrhena, Cortex Moutan, and Eclipta.[Conclusion]1 The CKD clinical performance is mainly a lumbago, thirsty, the fatigue is tired, legs puffiness;Tongue elephant with Tai Huang Bo Ni, the quality is dark(is red) to is a lord;Vein elephant with thin, slippery vein is lord.2 The certificate of the machine disease of CKD disease mainly involves hot, wet, kidney falsely, Yu, the Yin harm.The CKD disease always belongs to originally falsely mark actually, originally falsely main for kidney falsely, the Yin harm and mark actually mainly for hot, wet, Yu.3 Use a medicine up, professor Zhou Zhong Ying aims at CKD disease machine to adopt to give birth to a ground of Huang, soil fu ling, Huang Bo, Ze Xie more, the cool bloods, such as snow and ghost arrows feather...etc. spreads Yu in June, pure hot benefit wet etc. Medicine.
