Objective: To study the relationship between hyponnatremia and the complications caused by liver cirrhosis that involve in hepatic encephalopathy, hepatorenal syndrome, upper gastrointestinal bleeding and spontaneous peritonitis, besides, the article also discuss the correlation between hyponatremia and the capacity of ascites, refractory ascites, the Child-Huge classification and mortality of short-term by analyzing the clinical datas of cirrhotic ascites with hyponatremia from Second affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical Unversity.According to above discussion, clinical, we learn more about hyponatremia that have impact on the patient’s condition, and improve the importance of prognostic by remedy hyponatremia immediately. Methods:By retrospective method:we evaluated 366 patients with cirrhotic ascies, who were hospitalized to the department of digestion of the Second affiliated Hospital of Dalian medical university from January 2012 to October 2014.The electrolyte, liver function, coagulation were collected from the first test effect within 72 hours. Calculate Child-Puge grading, record ascites and complication and so on.All patients were divided into four groups:normal group, mild hyponatremia, moderate hyponatremia and severe hyponatremia according to the degree of serum sodium. At last, comparing with the relevant information including general information(age、sex),cause of cirrhosis, liver function 、 refractory ascites, and incidence of all complications.besides, SPSS 19.0 statistical software for processing and analyzing the datas. Results: All 366 patients who suffer from cirrhotic ascites involve in 225 male and 141 female, accounting for 61.48%、38.52% respectively,All patients’ s age range from 32 to 83 years. average age is 59.82±12.56.All patients including 108 patients(29.51%) in hyponatremia groups and 258(70.49%) patients in normal groups,. Among all hyponatremia patients, including 55 mild hypontremi a,34 moderate hyponatremia and 19 severe hyponatremia. Hyponatremia groups have higher complication rates(hepatic encephalopathy, hepatorenal syndrome, spontaneous peritonitis) than the normal serum sodium groups(P<0.01).But the upper gastrointestinal bleeding shows no diffrence between groups. The severe hyponatremia group has higher incidence than other groups in ascites capacity and refractory ascites.(P<0.01).There were significant difference in Child-Puge score, complications and short-term mortality comparing with the severity of hyponatremia.Namely the lower of serum sodium, the poorer liver functions, the higher short-term mortality and the higher complications rates are.Conclusions:1.Patients who suffer from cirrhotic ascites are common disease. 2. Cirrhosis with hyponatremia had positively related to the ascites and refractory ascites,The lower of serum sodium, the more capacity of ascites and greater incidence of refractory ascites. 3. The hyponatremia induced by liver cirrhosis had positively related to the Child-Puge.,Reduced sodium often prompts the liver function decline. 4.Liver cirrhosis ascites with hyponatremia had positively related to the complications caused by liver cirrhosis that involve in hepatorenal syndrome, spontaneous peritonitis and hepatic encephalopathy, but and no obvious correlation with upper gastrointestinal bleeding. 5.Hyponatremia affect the prognosis of patients with cirrhosis Seriously.
