Research On The Development Of Adolescent Health Literacy’s Tool And Its Influencing Factors Of Adolescents

Objective:Analyze the main factors affecting adolescents’ health literacy,work for students’ health literacy intervention targeted to provide the reference basis.Methods:With investigation tools include questionnaire of general demographic data, the development of adolescent health literacy scale.Using SPSS17.0 and AMOS 5.0 software t test, single factor analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, multiple regression and test the reliability and validity analysis data.Results:1. Three factors were identified,including the basic knowledge and concept、 healthy lifestyle and behavior、basic skills.The Cronbach’s a of scale is 0.70.The scale has good reliability and balidity.2.Adolescents’ overall health literacy rate was 18.2%,adolescents’ health literacy average always divided into 46.51±15.26.3.Different gender and age of adolescents’ health literacy and each dimension score differences statistically significant (P<0.05).the smaller age students scored health literacy scores, health knowledge and concept, healthy lifestyle, behavior scored and health skill score lower than bigger age students.4.Different grade and origin of adolescents’ health literacy and each dimension score differences statistically significant (P<0.05); the lower grade and rural students scored health literacy scores, health knowledge and concept, healthy lifestyle, behavior scored and health skill score lower than the higher grade and the city students.5. Different school record of adolescents’ health literacy and each dimensi-o n score differences statistically significant (P<0.05); the higher record studen-ts scored health literacy scores, health knowledge and concept, healthy lifesty-le, b ehavior scored and health skill score higher than lower record students.6. Logistic regression showed that the main factors that influence the health literacy for gender and origin.Conclusion:l.The scale has good reliability and validity to estimate the adolescent health literacy in China.2. The three dimensions of health literacy and health literacy level uneven.3.The main factors affecting adolescents health literacy is gender and ongin.
