Aims:To investigate of effect of early rehabilitation intervention on upper limb motor function, cognitive function and lower limb motor in patients with traumatic brain injury which was compared with the patients who didn’t receive early rehabilitation intervention. This will provide a theoretical basis for early rehabilitation intervention and be into further clinical application.Methods:40 patients with traumatic brain injury were chose out from the First Hospital of Jilin University during January 2014 to December 2014;20 man patients and 20 women patients are in this research.. All the patients between the ages of 30-70 years old, and average age was 35.4 +20.5 years old. Ill onset time was about one week. By check of skull CT or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), all the patients above were in line with a 1978 second session of Chinese neural science academic conference of craniocerebral injury disease diagnostic criteria.Inclusion criteria:1. NO nerve of muscle bone disease that can impact the functional recovery.2. Limb dysfunction, but no aphasia and serious intellectual communication.3. The age is between 30 years old and 70 years old.4. The ill oneset time must not excce 2 weeks, and at the same time vital sigs must be stable.5. Glass Coma Scale (GSC) score must be more than eight points, without conscious barriers.6. No serious heart liver and spleen kidney organs such as lung disease.7. No mental illness, deaf and quadriplegic in the past.8. Families and patients themselves signed informed consent.Exclusion criteria:1.Serious heart liver and spleen kidney organs disease.2. Patients with acute malignant tumor, and active liver disease. 3. Respiratory function failure; 4 patients with a history of mental illness; 5. Serious intelligence and communication disorders; 6. The field can’t follow-up personnel; 7. Deaf patients; 8 limbs paralyzed patients.40 patients was randomly divided into two groups:Control group and Rehabilitation group.20 patients in each group. The age, gender, lime limbs dyskinesia degree, cognitive impairment degree, has no statistical significance. (P> 0.05). All the patients in two groups received neurosurgery clinical medication, psychotherapy, etc. But, the patients in Rehabilitation group received scientific and standardized rehabilitation treatment at the same time. The limb motor function and functional independence was evaluated by FIM and Fugl-Meyer on admission, and treatment in 20 days. All the programs was completed by only one clinical rehabilitation doctor. Results:There was no significant difference in onset site and general conditions between control group and rehabilitation group(P> 0.05); Before treatment, there was no significant difference in each function in control group and rehabilitation group(P> 0.05); MMSE, the FMA cognitive scores, FIM functional independence of each score significantly improve after treatment in control group (P<0.05); The MMSE, the FMA cognitive scores, FIM functional independence of each score significantly improve after treatment in rehabilitation group(P< 0.05) and it is improve higher than control group(P<0.05).Conclusions: 1. The early rehabilitation intervention can improve upper limb and lower limb motor function, meanwhile it also improve cognitive function of patients with traumatic brain injury during functional recovery. 2. The other side, early rehabilitation intervention therapy in patients with craniocerebral injury, can get better life activities, effectively improve the self-care ability of patients with craniocerebral life.
