| Objective:To analyze the clinical features, biology, diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal stromal tumor. Methods:We retrospectively analyzed57cases who were pathologically diagnosed GIST from December2013to December2014in our hospital. Results:All cases conducted operations.55primary cases were resected completely. Among the gastric GIST cases,33cases underwent either laparoscopic surgery(n=7) or open surgery(n=26).Clinical characteristics of those cases were similar between the two groups. The volume of intraoperative bleeding was less and the postoperative hospital stay duration was significant shorter in the laparoscopic group. The detection rate of enhanced contrast CT was86%, EUS was95%.The immunohistochemical staining of 50cases were analyzed. The expression rate of CD117was94%, DOG-1was98%.According to the modified NIH criteria,21%was very low risk,26%was low risk,23%was middle risk,30%was high risk. All57cases had no death related with operations. The recovery from surgery was satisfied. During the follow up, we had not seen recurrence or metastasis. Conclusions:S urgery is the mainstay therapy for GIST patients. Laparoscopic surgery is safe and effective, and we should utilize the advantages of perioperative time. EUS and enhanced contrast CT are the main means to diagnose.DOG-1is highly expressed in GIST patients, which is a promising protein mark to diagnose. |
