Clinical Observation On The Effect Of Xiao’er Shizhenjing Chrisma In Treating Subacute Eczema In Children(Damp-heat Syndrome)

Objective:To investigate preliminarily the efficacy and safety of Xiao’er Shizhenjing Chrisma on treating subacute eczema in children(Damp-heat syndrome).Methods:According to the random and double-blind principle,80children suffering from subacute eczema of damp-heat syndrome were divided into experimental group and control group with40cases in each. The experimental group was given with Xiao’er Shizhenjing Chrisma, while the control group took with placebo, applying to the affected area3times a day.After4weeks of continuous use, we compared the treatment group itself and compared it with the control group in the curative effect of the target lesions morphology and TCM syndrome, to make a preliminary evaluation of the effectiveness and safety of Xiao’er Shizhenjing Chrisma on the treatment of subacute eczema Damp-heat syndrome in children.Results:1.There were no statistical significance in gender, age and course of disease between the two groups(P>0.05),that is to say the two groups are comparable.2.The curative effect of the target lesions morphology:in the treatment group,9cases were recured,11cases had remarkable therapeutic effect,15cases had effect and5cases had no effect, total effective rate was87.5%. In the control group,3cases were recured,8patients had remarkable effect,14cases had effective effect and15cases had no effect, total effective rate was62.5%. It had statistical significance in comparing the two groups (P<0.05),the treatment group was superior to the control group.3.There was statistical significance in TCM syndrome relieving efficacy between the two groups (P＜0.05).In the treatment group,.8cases were recured,11cases had remarkable therapeutic effect,14cases had effect and7cases had no effect, total effective rate was82.5%. In the control group,5cases were recured,8patients had remarkable effect,12cases had effective effect and15cases had no effect, total effective rate was62.5%.4.Safety evaluation:2cases had appeared adverse reaction related to the test drug in the trial,considerd to be no relationship with the test drugs probably. The two groups had no serious adverse events. Conclusion:Xiao’er Shizhenjing Chrisma has a significant effect on the treatment of subacute eczema in children due to syndrome of dampness-heat,and the clinical application shows that it is safe.
