Objective:With oral administration of Western medicine for comparision, to observe and evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of acupuncture in the treatment of cardiac neurosis, to explore the mechanism of acupuncture on the disease.Methods:60patients who has Cardiac Neurosis were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,30cases in each group. The treatment group was given acupuncture treatment, the control group was given orally medicine. The clinical efficacy was evaluated by criteria of curative effect, Hamilton Anxiety Scale and Self-rating Somatization Symptom Scale scores.Results:1. As the baseline information were of no statistic difference between the two groups before treatment (P>0.05), they were comparable.2. After therapy, the Hamilton Anxiety Scale scores, the Self-rating Somatization Symptom Scale scores, the anxiety level and somatic anxiety, psychic anxiety in each group were statistical differences as compared with that before treatment (P<0.05).After treatment,the treatment group and control group had no statistical difference in the aspects of somatic anxiety and psychic anxiety (P>0.05).3. After treatment in the two groups, there were no remarkable difference (P>0.05)in the3aspects of Hamilton Anxiety Scale scores, the Self-rating Somatization Symptom Scale scores and the clinical curative effect,with significant difference in the Hamilton Anxiety Scale anxiety level and spiritual anxiety.4. the Follow-up between the two groups, there were no remarkable difference (P>0.05)in the aspects of Hamilton Anxiety Scale scores, the Self-rating Somatization Symptom Scale scores, Hamilton Anxiety Scale anxiety level, somatic anxiety, with significant difference in the psychic anxiety. Compared with somatic anxiety and psychic anxiety, the treatment group had significant difference (P<0.05), while the control group had no significant difference (P>0.05).5. the safeties of the two groups were good.Conclousion:1. Acupuncture and oral administration of western medicine were effective in treatment of cardiac neurosis, and the clinical curative effect is quite.2.After treatment, the acupuncture in improving anxiety and mental anxiety was better than the oral administration of western medicine.3. The follow-up showed that the improvement in spiritual anxiety is superior to the physical anxiety by the therapy of acupuncture.
