| Objective:To evaluate the therapeutic efficacy and safety of JianpiYishen Decoction on nausea and vomiting induced by cisplatin chemotherapy.Methods:From June2012to June2013,94cases which met the inclusion criteria and treated in affiliated hospital of Chengdu university of TCM were randomly divided into treatment group and contrast group.All cases were received two cycles combination chemotherapy including cisplatin,cisplatin dosage was75mg/m2.Both of the two groups were received an injection of tropisetron5.64mg before the beginning of chemotherapy,patients in treatment group also took JianpiYishen Decoction from3days before chemotherapy until one week after chemotherapy,the contrast group received chemotherapy only.Results:(1) two groups of patients in age, gender,tumor type, stage and KPS score have no statistical significance (P>0.05).(2) The clinical efficacy comparison of acute nausea and vomiting induced by chemotherapy, treatment group is better than contrast group (P<0.05).(3) The clinical efficacy comparison of delayed nausea and vomiting induced by chemotherapy, treatment group is better than contrast group(P <0.05).(4) The clinical efficacy comparison of anorexia induced by chemotherapy, treatment group is better than contrast group(P<0.05).(5)Two groups in terms of inhibition of KPS score decreased after chemotherapy, the treatment group is better than the contrast group(P<0.05).(6)the timely completion of chemotherapy,treatment group is better than contrast group(P<0.05).(7) there is no statistical significance in blood、liver and kidney function、cardiac function after chemotherapy (P>0.05). Conclusion:JianpiYishen Decoction is able to prevent the nausea and vomiting effectively caused by chemotherapy, reduce the effect of chemotherapy on appetite, improve the quality of life and enhance the tolerance of chemotherapy in patients. JianpiYishen Decoction has no obvious side-effect and toxic-effect, thus it is safe and effective. |
