Objective1.Understanding of Soochow university medical students through the implementation of thetobacco control course, and the intervention effect of tobacco control know before and after.2. To promote the curriculum mode of smoking control in Soochow university, improve medical school teachers and student’s Tobacco control knowledge, skills and behavior ability (interest, consciousness and action) by the basis of the evidence, better implementation of tobacco control on campus3. Raise awareness of the tobacco control of Soochow university medical students, and to realize itskey role in the field of smoke control and shoulder important responsibilities.Method1.With literature retrieval, query technology in Chinese journal full-text database and Chinese academic periodical full-text database and Medline database, collecting published both at home and abroad research on tobacco control course, tobacco control intervention.Chinese word retrieval to "control" and "tobacco control intervention".Medline database search keywords for tobacco control intervention.To check the analysis of the relevant journal literature.2. Randomly selected from different professional, different grade of different professional medical students, before and after the intervention in tobacco control course by trained investigators questionnaires, fill in the questionnaire using anonymous way.Tobacco control research in Zhejiang university health science center of the medical colleges and universities based on the central policy support tobacco control advocates actuation ability construction project implementation guide for reference, make the medical students’questionnaires about tobacco control, including basic information, tobacco control knowledge, attitudes and behavior control and other relevant content,etc.3. Will be sorted out all the questionnaires, will be valid questionnaires through EpiData3.0input data and check, using the statistical software SPSS17.0and Excel2007information statistical description, comparison between the two groups using t test, counting data by chi-square test, etc.result1.Suzhou university student smoking and tobacco control KAP situation: Situation:(1) smoking behavior of Soochow university surveyed355students, average age (21.48-1.27).Male smokers of27people, accounting for100%of the number of smokers, smoking rates exist significant differences between male and female (P<0.05), the male smoking rate is significantly higher than women.In the students of smoking, smoking every day, a total of nine people, accounting for2.5%, the number of Chinese students smoking every day for two people, not the number of medical students’smoking every day at7;Occasionally smoking is the total number of18people, accounting for5.1%, the doctor of traditional Chinese medicine students occasionally smoking for3people, the medical students occasionally smoking for15people;Tried smoking, quit smoking now, a total of59people, accounting for16.6%, the doctor of traditional Chinese medicine students tried smoking accounted for15.4%of the total number of medical students, not medical students tried smoking accounted for17.9%of the total number of medical students.Overall the medical students the medical students smoking rate is high(2)355medical students in Soochow university and the medical students of the risks of smoking:the survey of355students, medical students and medical students to "low tar cigarette harm than the ordinary small","low tar cigarette than the ordinary not addictive","low tar absorption is smaller than general toxicity of cigarette smoke released by the","low tar cigarette smokers to quit smoking than the ordinary" knowledge cognition, agree with the proportion of close, there was no significant difference, there is no statistical significance.In the understanding of the "smoking addiction is a disease", P<0.05difference was statistically significant, the understanding of the medical students is significantly higher than the medical students.In terms of knowledge information about tobacco control, medical students before tobacco control course intervention and the medical students on "the three elements of clinical intervention of simple and easy method""advocate actuation" PCPA "model","tobacco control policy initiatives MPOVER content" on the awareness of there was no statistically significant difference (P>0.05.Before the show in tobacco control intervention to control knowledge is low, in the process of create a smoke-free schools, tobacco control course setup, tobacco control knowledge teaching is very necessary.(3)355medical students in Soochow university and the medical students’attitude toward tobacco control:surveyed355Soochow university students in terms of attitude toward tobacco control,"thinks that cigarette advertising should be banned""should be in the ballroom, bar and playroom","should be in a closed on smoking in public places" and "should quit smoking on the doctor skill training"|"said health workers should become a model for the patient or the public’s not smoking","think doctors should advise patients to quit smoking in the routine diagnostic","thought the doctor advised the patient quit smoking should use product" attitude of medical students and there was no statistically significant difference of non medical students’attitude, medical students and the attitude difference of nonmedical students.In "think can’t sell cigarettes to teenagers" and "thought the doctor advised the patient to quit smoking has an effect on smoking cessation" attitude on the P<0.05difference was statistically significant, medical students from the medical students more approved doctor in advises patients to quit smoking.In "whether should ban smoking in restaurants" attitude, P<0.01there are significant differences, the medical students more determined than the nonmedical students’attitude2. The KAP of the medical students’smoking control course before and after the intervention (1)Medical students status before and after the intervention, survey of Soochow university,before the intervention survey of182, after the intervention survey of184people.Before and after the intervention subjects men accounted for37.9%and37.9%respectively;Average age respectively (21.48-1.27) and (20.93+/-1.22) years;National condition are given priority to with han Chinese medical students.The respondents have almost the same demographic characteristics before and after the intervention, there was no statistically significant difference (P st130.05)(2)Medical students knowledge about tobacco control situation:before and after the intervention after tobacco control curriculum study, after the intervention of medical students on "the three elements of clinical intervention of simple and easy method", from before the intervention, only1.1%of the medical students learn about the56.5%of the medical students to master;"Advocate actuation PCPA model" from before the intervention, only1.6%of the medical students learn about the89.7%of the medical students to master;"Tobacco control policy initiatives MPOVER" from before the intervention, only1.6%of the medical students learn about the87.5%of the medical students to master.Knowledge is a significant boost.(3)The attitude of Medical students before and after the intervention:after tobacco control curriculum study, after the intervention of medical students’recognition For cigarette advertising should be banned","think should ban smoking in the restaurant","should be in the ballroom, bar and playroom smoking","thought should be in a closed on smoking in public places" ratio increased significantly, compared with before;"Think should quit smoking on the doctor skill training ","said health workers should become a model for the patient or the public’s not smoking" ratio increased significantly, compared with before."Think can’t sell cigarettes to teenagers "cognitive no obvious difference before and after the intervention, medical students in understanding the problem before intervention is more consistent, understanding is higher.After the intervention, to agree to "cigarette price increases can reduce smoking rates" attitude, clear rise to74%from45.6%before intervention;Agree with "smoking stomach cold health warnings on cigarette packets to quit smoking" on the attitude of obvious rise to42.8%from17%before intervention.(4) Medical students’smoking behavior compared before and after intervention After tobacco control curriculum study, after the intervention of the number of medical students’smoking every day, from before the drop to0, occasionally smoking before intervention can reduce the number of1person.Before and after the intervention, no obvious difference on medical students’smoking behavior changeConclusionSurvey results show that the medical students’smoking rates of2.7%before intervention, after the intervention to reduce is not obvious, may be due to the small sample size, intervention time is shorter, on the other hand also proves that the difficulty of tobacco control and long-term smokers.Medical student smokers smoke every day after intervention reduced to0, tobacco control course for medical students intervention effect is obvious.Research shows that after the intervention obviously improve the degree of medical students’understanding of knowledge about tobacco control, tobacco control course setting and professor way recognized by medical students, and good results have been achieved.Medical students’attitude toward tobacco control measures after intervention has improved significantly, compared with before, through the study tobacco and tobacco control propaganda, medical students have realized the dangers of smoking and as medical workers have the responsibility and obligation for patients who do not smoke example.But there are still2.7%of the medical students think don’t need to quit the doctor skills training, there are2.2%of medical students think health workers should not become the patient or the public’s model does not smoke.
