Objective: To learn the basic situation of the radiation protectionknowledge of occupational population at Gusu district in Suzhou; To ensurethe working environment and health safe to relevant staffs; To implementthe National Radiological Health Regulations and Standards,increase thesupervision on the relevant units, and regulate the management; To prevent,control and eradicate the radiation damage on the population, and preventradiation accidents;Through the analysis on the protection knowledgelevel,to determine the focus of future on radiological protection; Toprovide reference for the administrative departments on the situation ofthe radiological health management, to improve the guidance andsupervision on radiological protection at Gusu district in Suzhou,andto promote the people’s attention on the subjective radiologicalprotection。Methods: Using self-designed 《The Questionnaire of RadiationProtection》,using the method of random sampling to survey the populationof Gusu District.580questionnaires were distributed,541recovered,and the rate of recovery is93.28%。The statistically process was appliedon the survey results, using Epidata to duplicate data entry,and usingSPSS16.0analysis of statistical by chi-square test。 Results:1, The knowledge and awareness of radiological protection is relevant tooccupation, and radiation-related workers are better.2, The knowledgeand awareness of radiological protection is relevant to education, thehigh educated are better.3,The knowledge and awareness of radiologicalprotection is relevant to occupational training, the trained is better;4,The knowledge and awareness of radiological protection is relevant tothe source path, mainly network and media.5,The knowledge and awarenessof radiological protection is relevant to the awareness on the hazardsof ionizing radiation.6,The knowledge and awareness of radiologicalprotection is relevant to hospital protective measures.Conclusion:1,The knowledge and awareness of radiological protection is relevant tomultiple factors, e.g. occupation, education, and training et al.2,Through advocacy and learning to improve the knowledge and awareness ofradiation health protection.3, After the intervention, the protectionlevel of knowledge increases in population...
