Study On Health Care And Public Service In Minority Area

Since the21st century, the unbalanced and lack of health care resources in minority areas has become an issue of social concern. Developing medical public service in minority areas is of great urgency. It has important significance in researching the shortage and unbalance of the medical public service resources in minority areas. The study specifies the definitions of the concepts of minority area, public service, health care and public service, health care and public service of county, these mainly based on the the New Public Service Theory. Many data which relates on the public service and health care in Wushen county has been used for analyzing the problems and the reasons exists in public service and health care in the study area. Referencing local policy documents, files, statistical yearbooks, reports and other materials, helps to find out some specific solutions to improve public service and health care in Wushen county. The study suggests that Wushen county government should accelerate the establishment of the basic medical public service system, the initial establishment of the basic drug system, improve primary health care and public service system of minority areas, promote the full coverage of the new rural cooperative medical system, and promote the reform of public hospitals. And furthermore, considering its advantages, Mongolian medicine should be put into good use. The suggestions above are the guarantee for the equality of the urban residents and farmers and herdsmen enjoying basic medical care of public services.
