Objective:Observed the effect of Shenfu Injection (Shenfu, Injection, SF) on theinflammatory response in patients with sepsis with MODS.Methods:Forty-one adult patients were choosed form in Qianfoshan hospital withMODS induced by sepsis, randomly divided into control group。 Based on thecomprehensive treatment of conventional Western medicine(Including active infectioncontrol, respiratory support, maintain hemodynamic stability, improve microcirculation, nutritional support and other supportive care, etc)and treatment group given to Shenfuinjection50ml intravenous injection, every bit of time in15-20minutes,2times a day,7days)。 Calculated and compared before treatment, after treatment, both groups ofpatients APACHE Ⅱ score, TCM syndrome integral calculated and28-day mortality,Simultaneous detection and compare all the selected cases before treatment, seven daysafter treatment, the blood procalcitonin (procalcitonin, PCT), white blood cell (WBC),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), inflammatory mediators interleukin-6(IL-6), serum highmobility group protein1(high mobility group protein, HMGB1) levels. Results:Before treatment, PCT, WBC, TNF-α, IL-6, HMGB1was no significantdifference (p>0.05);7days of treatment, both groups of patients APACHE Ⅱ score, TCM syndrome integral declining trend; monitoring PCT, WBC, TNF-α, IL-6, HMGB1downward trend was statistically significant (p <0.05) difference compared with beforetreatment; After treatment SFI group symptom scores, WBC, TNF-α, IL-6, HMGB1compared with control group decreased significantly (p <0.05); but APACHE Ⅱ score,28days mortality rate, PCT and control groups showed no significant difference (p>0.05).Conclusion:In the application of conventional therapy for severe sepsis complicatedby SF MODS help to reduce inflammation in patients, which may be related to theregulation of inflammatory cytokines.
