| Objective: To summarize the medication rules of syndromes of damp-heat andphlegm-heat obstructing lung for treatment of mycoplasma pneumonia, and theninvestigate the clinical medication experience for treatment of this disease. Methods: The data of mycoplasma pneumonia were collected from the childrenadmitted in the pediatric ward of Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of TraditionalChinese Medicine from May2012to April2013. The clinical features of mycoplasmapneumonia with both syndromes of damp-heat and phlegm-heat obstructing lung weresummarized and analyzed, as well as the correlations with TCM medication. Thehigh-frequency drugs and their efficacy were summarized by using the frequency analysis, thus summarizing the medication rules for treatment of this disease. Results: According to inclusion and exclusion criteria,102cases of patients werescreened out, including53cases of syndrome of damp-heat obstructing lung and49casesof syndrome of phlegm-heat obstructing lung. TCM commonly used for the earlysyndrome of damp-heat obstructing lung of mycoplasma pneumonia included Fructusforsythiae, Oriental wormwood, Acorus gramineus, Scutellaria baicalensis, Agastacherugosus, Thunberg fritillary bulb, Belamcanda sinensis, Amomum cardamomum, and Talc. The dampness-eliminating drug was dominated, followed by antipyretic and expectorantdrugs. TCM commonly used for the early syndrome of phlegm-heat obstructing lungincluded Honey ephedra, Licorice, Fried almond, Semen lepidii, Gypsum, Fructus perillae,Scutellaria baicalensis, Thunberg fritillary bulb, Fructus trichosanthis, and White mulberryroot-bark. The ventilating-lung, expectorant and antiasthmatic drugs were dominated, followed by antipyretic drug, qi-regulating drug and drug for invigorating blood circulationand eliminating stasis. Two syndromes of mycoplasma pneumonia tended to be unanimousin the medium-and late-term, dominated by antipyretic and expectorant drugs; latemedication was emphasized on tonifying deficiency and promoting blood circulation toremove blood stasis. High frequency of drug co occur during the course of two kinds ofsyndromes mainly include: Bulbus Fritillariae thunbergii, Fructus Trichosanthis, RadixScutellariae, Houttuynia cordata. On channel tropism, two syndromes were mostly treatedwith lung and stomach channel drugs throughout the course of the disease. Conclusion: Two syndromes of mycoplasma pneumonia are dominated by the realevil in the early, so the early medication emphasizes on eliminating evil; they aredominated by the weakened body resistance in the late, so the late medication emphasizeson tonifying. The antipyretic and expectorant drugs are throughout the course of thedisease. The channel tropism is dominated by the lung and stomach channels. The channeltropism is dominated by the lung and stomach channels. In the whole course of medication, with syndromes, two syndromes using discretetrend gradually. |
