Objective: Observe the correlation between presby-hypertension blood pressurevariability and the distribution of TCM syndrome, to investigate the relevance betweenthem, analyze the corresponding pathogeny and the action mechanism. Methods: On the basis of "2010Chinese guidelines for the management ofhypertension" presby-hypertension’s diagnostic criteria of Western Medicine, enrolled in80presby-hypertension patients, according to the "2002Guiding principle of clinicalresearch on new drugs of traditional Chinese Medicine"will be divided into liver firehyperactivity, hyperactivity of Yang due to yin deficiency, deficiency of yin and yang two, excessive accumulation of phlegm dampness type4, according to the diagnosis standardinto4groups. Study of blood pressure in elderly patients with24h ambulatory bloodpressure variability, as observation indexes, systematic observation of different type ofsyndrome in elderly hypertensive patients with blood pressure variability and circadianfluctuation was observed, all day, daytime, nighttime systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, mean arterial pressure and the mean value and its variability, the coefficient of variation inTCM syndrome type distribution between is there a significant difference, and to analyzeits change trend. To process the collected data using SPSS17.0statistical software. Results: Study on the selected80patients clinical symptoms were summarized, withhyperactivity of liver Yang, deficiency of yin and yang two, hyperactivity of Yang due toyin deficiency, stagnation of phlegm dampness into4main syndromes, average value, the80cases of24h blood pressure variability of blood pressure, blood pressure variability, circadian rhythm of single factor analysis of variance. The results showed that: the four groups of patients with24h, daytime, nighttime systolic blood pressure variability is high,Yu Shuzhang pressure, mean arterial pressure, blood pressure variability is not obvious.Variability of systolic blood pressure, coefficient of variation of four kinds of TCMsyndrome type there are differences, P <0.05, statistically significant variation accordingto statistics, the average value from high to low is: hyperactivity of Yang due to yindeficiency syndrome, deficiency of yin and Yang, two phlegm dampness, hyperactivity ofliver yang.71.25%of the patients with circadian rhythm,6.25%patients with dippercircadian process depth distribution, no obvious difference between various syndrome. Conclusion: Four groups of patients with systolic blood pressure variability hassignificant difference in different syndrome types, Yu Shuzhang pressure, mean arterialpressure, blood pressure variability is not obvious. Yin deficiency and yang hyperactivitysyndrome in patients with blood pressure variability than other syndromes, suggesting thatyin deficiency and yang hyperactivity is the main syndrome of blood pressure variability inelderly patients with essential hypertension syndromes, attention should be given to theclinical and dialectical process.
