Objective: To observe the Modified Forsythia Dispel Decompose scattered the type of theWind Heat Phlegm Subacute thyroiditis, and to explore its mechanism of action, in order toprovide a theoretical basis and practical ideas and methods for the study of subacutethyroiditis Traditional Chinese Medicine.Methods: The study used a randomized controlled method, eligible patients were60casesof subacute thyroiditis wind-heat phlegm diagnostic criteria, in accordance with theprinciple of random assignment into the treatment group and the control group30cases.In western medicine treatment group based on the use forsythia bulk Kennedy decoction,decoction300ml, morning and evening for half an hour after the meal,drink when itwarm, each150ml, Day1.The control group received prednisone, plus improve thyroidsymptoms such as pain and rapid heart rate with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugsand β-blockers when necessary. Four weeks for a course. Both groups were evaluatedbefore and after treatment clinical symptoms, physical signs and thyroid-related hormonelevels were observed, Including erythrocyte sedimentation rate, thyroid131I intake ratesand other indicators and two course incidence of side effects caused by hormone therapy,as well as safety indicators. After the treatment, the observed group elevated levels of TSHcompared with the control group were significantly different (P<0.05), showed elevatedTSH rate in terms of the observation group than the control group; Observation group andcontrol group FT3, FT4, ESR were significant differences (P<0.05), prompts theobservation group in lower FT3, FT4, ESR terms of efficacy than the control group.③Before and after treatment of thyroid131I rate intake comparison, two groups of patientsafter treatment of thyroid131I intake rate increases, there is a significant difference(P<0.05) previous statistical comparison of the results of treatment; at the same, theimprovement of the observation group thyroid131I intake ratecompared with the controlgroup were significantly different(P<0.05) improved.④Compare two groups of patientshormone-related side effects after the treatment, in the observation group,1caseoccurredin30cases of hormone-related side effects, the total hormone-related side effects rate was3.3%. In the30patients of control group, hormone-related side effects occurred in4cases,the total rate of hormone-related side effects is13.3%. Observation group than the controlgroup in terms of reducing the side effects of hormone-related,withing statisticallysignificant (P<0.05).⑤Safety index: before and after the treatment, the blood, urine, stool,liver and kidney function tests were within the normal range in both groups, withoutserious adverse events.Conclusion: The clinical study results showed that modified forsythia dispel decomposefor the treatment of wind combined heat phlegm type subacute thyroiditis, in the aspect oftraditional Chinese medicine syndrome, can obviously improve the goiter, thyroid pain andtenderness, fever, chills, sore throat and other clinical symptoms, Laboratory examinationindexes in western medicine, can obviously improve the level of thyroid hormones, reduceblood sedimentation, higher rate of thyroid131I taken,improve the Patient’s condition andquality of life, the treatment of this disease is safe, effective, and more pure western medicine treatment has obvious advantages, have broad application prospects.
