This article is From Obama’s healthcare reform to analyze the various scenarios and obstacles what he faced in his new medical reform legislation. From the United States Medical and health policy making to conclude the points which may be applicable for china’s medical reform.This article will be divided into four sections:Part Ⅰ:Introduction.First is to the expound the significance of this topic specifically to leads to main issues and how to solve them. Second is to state the research status in china and abroad, to point out some advantages and disadvantages which exist among domestic and foreign research.Third, the research content and methods of this article. Fourth, weaknesses in the research process of this study.Part Ⅱ:Overview of Obama’s previous healthcare policies.First, A general understanding of Obama’s previous healthcare status; and second, background of Obama’s previous healthcare. Briefly illustrate which kind of environment of Obama’s healthcare policy comes from. Third, what is the medical policy dilemma Obama faced before he took over. Indicate what the healthcare problems exist in reality, and what needs to be solved urgently. The fourth is a brief introduction of previous medical policy.Part Ⅲ:Overview of the Obama healthcare policy.First, summarize the main ideas of Obama’s healthcare policy. Specifically state what kinds of ideology and theory he brought up, and the reasons and basis for these theories. Second is how difficult Obama’s major medical policy passed through, which policies are passing by arduous negotiations and debates and those reflects what kinds of realities in American political society. Third, the main difficulties and obstacles which hinder his policy to pass through.Fouth is the major medical policies during Obama times.Specify the content of the final formulation of healthcare policy.Part Ⅳ:Analysis of the Obama healthcare policy.One is the factors affect the development of healthcare policy in the Obama era, the second is the deficiencies exist in the policy making process. And the third is the Significance of American healthcare policy compared with the medical policy making and development in China.
