objective: Polyacrylamide hydrogel (PAHG) is a colorless, transparent polymer, as a kind of soft tissue filling agent, once considereda good filling material, however, in practice a significant proportion oftorture beauty after injection will develop locally different degree ofcomplication.we analyze the cause of the complications of and sum upthe experiences of clinical treatment. This article summarized thepostoperative treatment process of patients with polyacrylamide hydrogelinjection for augmentation mammaplasty, then analyzed the possiblecauses of their complications, and explored the best clinical treatment, finally expected to provide clinical experience of follow-up treatment inthese patients.methods: We collected the clinical data of89patients who visitedour department and accepted injectable polyacrylamide outside ourhospital from January2012to March2015,and they were all women,aged25to52, injection time for5to20years.The postoperativecomplications of polyacrylamide hydrogel injection for augmentationmammaplasty appeared including50cases pain,28cases induration,22cases poor breast shape,12cases shift,10cases burst infection,6caseshematoma or seroma,6cases Skin burst and fistula,12casesasymptomatic patients who required to take out the injection because ofpsychological factors. All of the patients were extracted the injection and removedenvelope under direct vision,but10cases patients were removed partialpectoralis major, and postoperative follow-up time was6months to24months.We got through statistics of postoperative complications inpatients who were took out polyacrylamide hydrogel and the survey onthe satisfaction of postoperative patients, then fond out postoperativethings about the removed polyacrylamide hydrogel,including56casespoor breast shape,10cases scar hyperplasia,7cases nipple and areolaparaesthesia,7cases pain,3cases hematoma,2cases encapsulatedeffusion,2cases delayed wound healing.results: After Polyacrylamide hydrogel was taken out,32casespatients are not satisfied with breast shape,then5cases of these patientswere accepted the second surgery to repair.Symptoms of10cases scarhyperplasia were relieved by means of the second repair and nuclearmedicine treatment of.There were7cases nipple and areola paraesthesiaand7cases pain.3cases hematoma were removed by the secondsurgery.Symptoms of2cases parcel effusion were relieved by thepuncture suction.Wounds in2cases delay wound healing were healed onthe second phase after treatment disposal. For the satisfaction of theoperation, there were82%great satisfaction,5.2%basic satisfaction, butsatisfaction of appearance was poorer, and36%patients were notsatisfied with appearance, but only15.6%of these patients accept second repair surgery, and the appearance was improved through the implantplacement and autologous fat fill.conclusion:Once patients after Amazingel injection foraugmentation mammaplastyonce develop complications and heavierpsychological burden, they should be carried on the operation as soon aspossible.Injection is removed under open direct version in ourdepartment, and injection extraction and envelope resection are performedunder direct version, and we try to completely remove injection andcapsular or degeneration. But secondary deformities appear because of theabove surgery, then can be improved by the individualized treatment, andpatients are satisfied with the postoperation.
