The Treatment To Complications After Breast Augmentation By Injection Pllyacrylamide Hydrogel(PAHG)

OBJECTIVE:To explore the treatment to complications after breast augmentation by injection polyacrylamide hydrogel.Methods:a study of 155 cases who accepted polyacrylamide hydrogel injection for augmentation mammaplasty from September 2004 to March 2010 in plastic Departments. MRI was taken in order to determine location of materials, coating integrity and thickness of materials and to distinguish the relationship between materials and surrounding tissue (breast, pectoralis major). And the 102 patients who expressed complications and were confirmed by MRI and 10 patients although there were no complications in but with the psychological anxiety were to hospital revenue. The 43 patients consciously asymptomatic and MRI confirmed the spread of non-encapsulated material to close, clinical follow-up.112 patients were treated with surgery for removal of material, some patients with silicone gel implant breast augmentation again.3 months after surgery compared patterns before and after surgery, clinical examination and objective indicators of subjective feelings of patients and record pain relief, infection control rate, induration elimination rate, feel better rate, breast shape satisfaction, psychological anxiety in patients with remission rate, to calculate the index treatment efficiency and satisfaction.Results:The 112 patients admitted to indicators of efficiency and better satisfaction rate,78 patients underwent breast augmentation prostheses over the same period show good effect; 11 cases routine extension of the basic good breast augmentation results, only 2 cases showed mild to moderate capsular contracture.Conclusion:Open surgery under direct vision to deal with the complications after breast augmentation by injected PAHG is the most effective means. Safe, controllable, completely and to concomitant advantages of breast augmentation prostheses are it's Advantage. It can effectively cure infection, relieve pain and other symptoms, and clinical results were satisfactory of return visit.
