Objective:Professor Yu Shenchu is a famous contemporary physician, educator and medical historians with enough diagnosis experiences in his lifetime. He has composed more than20medical books and has published over160academic articles. Collecting, collating and inheriting his rich academic experiences and learning the clinical medication compatibility characteristics benefit a lot for guiding clinic. Methods:By frequency statistics association rules analysisc and classification association rules etcdata mining method, Professor Yu’s prescription data of clinical practice is used for data mining research and by the relation between the macro-medication and its related disease, as well as the relation between the drug and the main disease these three aspects, Professor Yu’s clinical medication compatibility characteristics are explored.Results:1.It can be known from the analysis of drug classifications, single drug property channel tropism, symptom, syndrome elements, tongue picture pulse frequency and relevance rules that the accordance of "theory-law-method-drug" is high and the treatment focuses on the pathogenesis and pathogeny. this experiment research method is accurate, the result is credible. The experimental results show Mr. Yu is good at establishing the theory from "weakness, sputum, stagnation and fever" and proceeding with viscera including "spleen, kidney and liver" and applying the therapy of "reinforce insufficiency, remove stagnation and regulate Qi". He often applies medicines reinforcing insufficiency, regulating Qi and promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis. He has rich clinical experience and unique pharmacy style. In addition, he is strict and particular in making prescriptions, which accords with the principle of "the utilization of treatment in accordance with three categories of etiologic factors". He gives full considerations of the physical conditions of modern people and regional and climate characteristics of Fujian and Taiwan. He is especially famous for observing tongue pictures subtly.2. The rules of drug compatibility indicate that Professor Yu Shenchu used larger dosage and single herbs with higher frequency, which may not necessarily have compatible relationships. His clinical practice recipe is originated from the actual situation of clinical practice and the addition and subtraction cut of drug efficacy; the Pinellia∧dried tangerine peel, the Bupleurum∧white peony root, Poria∧licorice, the astragalus∧angelica∧dried tangerine peel and some other classical drugs are the combined structure which is Professor Yu’s prescription compatibility characteristics, the recipe construction of which is determined by treatment. When the main structure is confirmed, compatibility of the low-frequency drug is used to control the extent and direction of all aspects according to different diseases, in which tonic drugs or qi-regulating drug take up most.3. When treating exogenous disease, Mr. Yu makes full use of some combinations, such as pericarpium citri reticulatae and radix bupleuri, ephedra and ephedra, Pinellia ternate and pericarpium citri reticulatae, Agastache rugosus and Agastache rugosus. Treating thoracic obstruction disease, Mr. Yu thinks it derives from’deficiency of root and excess of tip’so he decides some therapies like ’promoting blood circulation’,’tonifying deficiency’,’regulating breath’and’dispeling phlegm’etc. He concentrates on drugs promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, i.e., choosing one of the four therapies as the major method while adding or decreasing other methods should be in accordance with practical situation. Treating spleen and stomach disease and disease of liver-gallbladder, he follows the methods of disease of liver-gallbladder but does not use drugs of disease of liver-gallbladder. Instead, he regulates spleen and stomach by tonic, drugs helping transportation and inducing diuresis with bland drugs. While for disease of liver-gallbladder, he aims at soothing liver-gallbladder, clearing heat and freeing strangury. At the same time, Mr. Yu uses yang-tonifying drug, Yin-tonifying drug and arresting seminal emission drug to treat cystipathy. The treatment of the children illnesses should follow the related physiopathologic features with nursing the spleen and stom ach, clearing heat and calming liver. And the treatment of the gynecological illnesses should mediate the liver wind and nurse the liver and kidney.4. Analysis the card compatibility of professor Yu prescription law, objective laws can be found only when consilia is sufficient and comlicated association algorithm is adpoted.Conclusion:1.This reasearch analyzes the classification of drugs, channel tropism of single flavor and nature, symptom, syndrome elemnets, tongue picture, pulse condition frequency, association rules, association rules between drugs and syndromes and ssociation rules of classification. Then it studies Mr. Yu’s treatment consilias, combines’Mechanism,Therapeutic Methods,Preseription and Drugs’with’Drugs-Syndromes’to be complementary and obraine more comprehensive and acrate annalysis results. Technology of regression data is applied in reasearches on laws of prescriptions of famous old doctors of traditional Chinese medicine, so objective results can be odtained by sufficient data and complicated algorithm.2. Professor Yu Shenchu is good at making a point of therapies based on’heat, phlegm, stasis and eficiency’beginning with’spleen, kendey and liver’by therapies such as’tonifying deficiency, dispeling phlegm and regulating breath’. Besides, his prescriptions are prescription and drugs are examined closely with strong theoritical basis, and compatibility of medicines is acurate. He is skilled in adopting classic drug combination and tonic drugs and qi-regulating drugs are added. After determining the major prescription, he adds other drugs according to patient’s’conditions.3.When treating exogenous disease, Mr. Yu makes full use of some combinations, such as pericarpium citri reticulatae and radix bupleuri, ephedra and ephedra, Pinellia ternate and pericarpium citri reticulatae, Agastache rugosus and Agastache rugosus. When reating paediatric diseases, Mr. Yu complies with children’s physiology and physiology to protect spleens and stomachs, clear heat and relieve liver toxin. In the aspect of gynaopathy, Mr. Yu regulates liver-Qi, sooth live, smooth liver and tonify liver and kidney.
