Research On The Treating Principles,Therapeutic Methods And The Combination Rules In The Prescriptions And Herbs Of Eliminating Herbal Toxicity

Abundant experience in recording and using prescription had been accumulated to eliminate herbal toxicity in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) from ancient time.This project was in order to in-depth research on the treating principles,therapeutic methods and the combination rules in the prescriptions and herbs of eliminating herbal toxicity.This project belonged to literature study,Chinese Prescription Database of Chinese Medicine Database Retrieval System and the Chinese Traditional Medical Code were searched combined with manual retrieval so that a great many of data included prescriptions and herbs of herbal detoxify were obtained.The treating principles,therapeutic methods and the combination rules in the prescriptions and herbs of herbal detoxify were reorganized after studying the history of the detoxify prescriptions of TCM,classifying the eliminating herbal toxicity TCM and the specific prescriptions. Meanwhile the factors of medicine poisoning and the characteristics of herbal toxicity were analysed systematically.The rules in detoxify is due to expelling of toxin.clearing the toxin and reconciling the toxin.The therapeutic methods is emesis method,purgation combined with diuresis method, neutralized method,clearing heat method and so on. Additionally, the treating principles and therapeutic methods in the medium of poisoning,the status of poisoning,the phase of poisoning,the physique of poisoner and the other complicated situations were summarized.Compatibility was followed the principle of discrimination toxicity,differentiation,primary and secondary, syndrome and trend combined with dispersion and astringency, cold and hot, reinforcing and reducing, ascent and descent.Compatibility skills focused on using the drugs of counteracting toxic substances,astringent, aromatic and carminative.Meanwhile the skills also focused on the opening of detoxification channels,flexible dose changes,taking methods and recuperating.Though the above,the prescriptions and herbs of herbal detoxify has formed a unique treatment, therapies and compatibility law.And the initial formation of discrimination toxicity and treatment system of syndrome differentiation,identified poison,identified physique and dose.This research provide the reference for clinical prescriptions of TCM for the prevention and treatment of herbs poisoning and it is helpful to prepare for establishing the Chinese Medicine Database for eliminating herbal toxicity. At the same time, it is advantageous to the screening effective representative of the prescriptions of eliminating herbal toxicity. The foundation is also settle to develop a new safe and effective formulation of herbal antidote and in-depth study the detoxification mechanism.
