Modified Taohong Siwu Decoction In The Treatment Of Cervical Spinal Cord Injury Without Radiographic Abnormality Of Clinical Research

Objective:The purpose of this study was to observe the Clinical curative effect of Modified Taohong Siwu Decoction in the treatment of cervical spinal cord injury without radiographic abnormality, for the party to provide a clinical basis for further clinical application.Methods:40cases of patients with cervical spinal cord injury without radiographic abnormality, were randomly divided into the treatment group of20cases,20cases of the control group.Two patients were treated by skull traction, and treated with mannitol, gangliosides, large dose of methylprednisolone (MP) and other intravenous drip; The treatment group and the control group at the same time, using the above method of treatment of foundation, the treatment group to use Modified Taohong Siwu Decoction treatment, while the control group were treated by Buyang Huanwu Decoction treatment, treatment for4weeks;The spinal nerve function of patients in two groups before treatment, after treatment and follow-up were assessed using American Spinal Injury Association formulated ASIA score standard and department of orthopedics institute JOA score standard;The two groups were observed before and after treatment, and follow-up of spinal nerve function recovery.Results:1.After4weeks of treatment and follow-up of patients in the two groups light touch,Needling sensation scores were significantly higher than before treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01);After4weeks of treatment and follow-up treatment group light touch scores significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05), the difference was statistically significant; To foliow-up treatment group light touch scores increased value is greater than the control group (P<0.05); After4weeks of treatment and follow-up, the treatment group and the control group Needling sensation scores no significant difference (P>0.05), similar to the efficacy of the two groups, To follow-up two groups of Needling sensation scores improve value close to (P>0.05), no significant difference.2.After4weeks of treatment and follow-up of two groups of patients of cervical JOA score than before treatment were significantly increased (P<0.01), At the same time comparison of treatment group is better than control group (P<0.05), the difference was statistically significant, and the treatment group of cervical JOA scores increased significantly than control group (P<0.05), the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion Modified Taohong Siwu Decoction can promote the functional recovery of spinal cord nerves in patients of cervical spinal cord injury without radiographic abnormality, enhance the light touch,Needling sensation, sports scores and cervical JOA score, improve the clinical symptoms, it is worthy of clinical application.
