In recent years, with the rapid development of social economic, the rapid increase of people’s living standards and the tremendous changes of the lifestyle, our population’s disease pattern and causes of death have mainly become chronic non-communicable diseases (hereinafter referred to as the chronic disease) from infectious diseases and nutritional deficiency. Hypertension is the most common cardiovascular disease. In most countries, about20percent of adults were affected. It is a major public health problem concerned in global. Not only it has high morbidity, high mortality, but also can cause heart, brain and kidney’s complication.Based on the above social situation, this thesis designs and implements Blood pressure management system based on Moblin operating system, and connects sphygmomanometer by IEEE11073-10407, uses GTK to achieve visual interface, C/C++as the development languages. Based on IEEE11073’s standard, hypertension management can make people understand the normal detection method of blood pressure, understand the change trend of blood pressure, and learn the related knowledge of blood pressure. Blood pressure management of Healthcare Terminal is a very useful application to potential hypertensive population or hypertensive patients.The Blood Pressure management system based on Healthcare Terminal has been applied in many regions. The practical application shows that the implementation of this subject will greatly improve the convenience and practicality of Home blood pressure self-test. It collects and records personal self-test blood pressure in a very portable way. These blood pressure data can provide a large number of clinical references for health service, and can be used as medication guide and blood pressure evaluation. It has higher practical application value.
