| objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy glycolic acidcombined with Traditional Chinese Medicine Face Pack in the treatment ofAcne vulgaris. Analyzes it’s superior and action mechanism, in order to supplya clinical technique, which is safe and easy to practice. Methods: Divide110Acne vulgaris patients into two groups randomly.Experimental group andcontrolled group. They were given the same glycolic acid (NeoStrate) at thefirst. One week later, the experimental group was given the Traditional ChineseMedicine Face Pack twice per week. At the same time,we measure the skinsebum and stratum corneum hydration. Three month later, the change of leisionand curative were assessed. Results:101cases completed the treatment. In theexperimental group, the total effectiveness rate was98.08%and the healing ratewas28.85%. In the controlled group, the total effectiveness rate was93.88%,and the healing rate was8.16%. Statistic analysis showed there was nodifference between experimental group and controlled group from the totaleffectiveness rate (P>0.05), but there is significant difference betweenexperimental group and controlled group from the total healing rate(P<0.05).And in reducing skin sebum and increasing stratum corneumhydration there is significant difference between experimental group andcontrolled group(P<0.01). |
