Objective: by studying the differences between different kidney yangdeficiencydegree of the elderly thyroid hormone level, revealing the relationship betweenTCM syndrome of deficiency of kidney and thyroid hormone levels in order toexplore therelationship between TCM syndrome of deficiency of kidney yang,and the hypothalamicpituitary thyroid axis, to further improve the health level of the elderly male patients,improve life quality, prolong life.Methods: in this study, the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of TraditionalChinese Medicine from2013April~2014year cadre health department in January, ward60≤age≤90years old in90elderly male patients as the research object. Based on thediagnostic criteria of1986edition of"Chinese medicine reference standard of deficiencysyndrome","kidney yangdeficiency syndrome factor combination with Yan Shilin scoringrules determine the degree of" kidney yang deficiency, formulating the inclusion andexclusion criteria,90cases were selected. Among29cases of mild kidney yangdeficiency,38cases of moderate deficiency of kidney yang,23cases of severe kidneyyangdeficiency. The detection of thyroid hormone levels, and assessment of the elderlymale patients with syndrome of kidney yang deficiency, using semi quantitative method toassess the degree of kidney yang deficiency, correlation analysis was carried out on thegeneral data of the patients, kidney yang deficiency, thyroid hormone level were observed,and TCM syndrome, to formulate and adopt the unified questionnaire. The data input ofExcel to establish a database, using SPSS20.0software for statistical analysis, the normaltest with Shapiro-Wilk test, measurement data using said, were compared by a number ofsingle factor analysis of variance, two two compared with LSD method,the P is less than0.05as the significant difference of standard. Results:1single factor variance analysis showed mild group, kidney yang deficiency,kidney yang deficiency and kidney yang deficiency group, moderate group and severegroup three between FT3, FT4and TSH indexes were significantly different (P<0.001twotwo), the comparison results show, kidney yang deficiency of mild FT3group were higherthan those of kidney yang deficiency and kidney yang deficiency, moderate group severegroup (P<0.001),there was significant difference, while the kidney yang deficiency andkidney yang deficiency group, moderate group and severe FT3average concentrationhasno significant difference (P=0.116); kidney yang deficiency of mild FT4groupis higherthan the average concentration of kidney yang deficiency and kidney yang deficiencysevere group, moderate group (P<0.001), there was significant difference, while moderategroup and kidney yang deficiency deficiency of Kidney Yang severe group, the averageconcentration of FT4had no significant difference (P=0.310); kidney yang deficiencysevere group TSH were higher than those of kidney yang deficiency and kidney yangdeficiency in mild group andmoderate group, there was significant difference (P<0.001),and kidney yang deficiency and kidney yang deficiency in mild group and moderate groupaverage concentration of TSH had no significant differences (P=0.328).2with theincreased degree of kidney yang deficiency, FT3and FT4concentrations were in decline,but the decline in the concentration of FT4is faster than FT3, especially the deficiency ofKidney Yang degree from mild to moderate, the concentration of FT4decreasedsignificantly, at the same time, discrete degree of FT3and FT4in the smaller. With theincreasing degree of kidney yang deficiency, the concentration of TSH in kidney yangdeficiency degree increased, especially from moderate to severe, the concentration of TSHincreased obviously, and the degree of kidney yang deficiency patients TSH discretedegree is bigger.3kidney yang deficiency score and FT3, FT4showed a moderate negativecorrelation, namely the kidney yang deficiency is more serious, FT3, FT4concentrationlevel is low; there was moderate positive correlation with kidney yang deficiency score andTSH, namely the kidney yang deficiency is more serious, the TSH concentration level ishigh; there is a high correlation betweenFT3and FT4, which both have also increase ordecrease trend; FT3, FT4and TSH showed a low negative correlation, namely theconcentration of FT3, higher FT4, lower TSH concentration; age and kidney yangdeficiency score has lowcorrelation, which is the older, the more serious the degree ofkidney yang deficiency; age and FT3, FT4and TSH had no correlation.Conclusion:1There is a certain relationship between deficiency syndrome and thyroid hormone levels. With the severity of deficiency, FT3and FT4concentrations are indecline, the extent of FT4concentration decreased significantly reduce the degree ofconcentration in FT3, TSH concentrations increased.2Deficiency syndrome hypothalamic-pituitary-there is a certain link between thyroid axis objective.3Degree of age andaging, but also the extent of the deficiency, the greater the older men age, the more severethe degree of deficiency.
