| Objective: This study aimed to observe through the system Chaishao the therapeuticeffect of astragalus soup constipation-predominant irritable bowel syndrome (IBS-C)stagnation and spleen deficiency syndrome and to explore Chaishao Astragalus decoctionfrom both theoretical and clinical studies constipation-irritable bowel syndromemechanism.Methods: The clinical selection met the inclusion criteria of constipation-predominant irritable bowel syndrome (liver and spleen deficiency) of60patients wererandomly.Divided into experimental group (30cases) and control group (30cases), theexperimental group were given Chaishao Astragalus decoction, Simotang control groupreceived oral treatment for2weeks after the end of the two treatment clinical symptoms,TCM syndrome etc. the clinical efficacy.Results: After two weeks of treatment, clinical studies have shown the efficacy of theexperimental group syndromes than the control group (P <0.05). Treatment couldsignificantly improve patient unhappy bowel, abdominal pain, tenesmus, bowel, belching,flank fullness, depression and other symptoms, and can increase the number of bowelmovements, with its effective than the control group (P <0.05). There were no adverse reactions during treatment.Conclusion: Chaishao astragalus soup is an effective prescription treatment ofconstipation-predominant irritable bowel syndrome (liver and spleen deficiency), whichis effective and can effectively alleviate the suffering of patients, elimination orimprovement of clinical symptoms, the clinical treatment of this type of constipation-predominant effective means of irritable bowel syndrome. |
