Research About The Effect And Mechanism Of Of Yin Tonics On Bleomycin-induced Pulmonary Fibrosis In Rats

By collecting literature and establishing literature database, select Yin Tonicsbased on traditional Chinese medicine on behalf of the data analysis results-NorthRadix,Radix ophiopogonis, and explore analysis Chinese herbs for nourishing yinintervention of pulmonary fibrosis in rats and its mechanism through animal testingfrom pathology.For animal experiment，32healthy SPF male SD rats were randomly divided intofour groups: control group, model group, Yin group and the hormone group.Establish the interstitial pneumonia models by dropping the bleomycin into trachea.With the corresponding intragastric drug intervention, the rats were sacrificed after28days. Observe pathological changes of lung tissue under light microscope，detectthe expression levels of IL-8, TGF-β1and TNF-α by ELISA and the expressionlevels of VEGF-mRNA in lung tissue of rats in each group by PCR, and test theactivity of SOD and GSH in abdominal aorta serum in each group. The results ofanimal experiments showed that the pathological changes in lung tissue and thedetection of indicators of rats given Yin Tonics intervention showed significantimprovement compared with the model group, and in some respects superior to thehormone. Chinese herbs for nourishing yin has a certain intervention effect onpulmonary fibrosis in rats, whose mechanism may lie in that Yangyin Chinese herbscan supply the body’s Yin Ye pulmonary fibrosis,suppress inflammatory exudate,correct oxidant/antioxidant imbalance, improve airway remodeling, and inhibitabnormal angiogenesis in lungs and so on.
