Purpose: To generalize and statistically analyze the attending disease types, and thestimulation and operation methods and the common compatibility of the Tianyou Fiveacupiont in order to provide a reference theory for clinical treatment by teasing out theancient documents and the clinical literatures of last20years.Methods: Ancient literature research method was used firstly to sort the ancientdocuments of Tianyou Five. Then this study used computer retrieval and searched theChina National Knowledge Internet(CNKI), WanFang Database (WF) and WeiPu Internet(VIP) for documents of last20years by keywords and themes “Tianyou Five”,“Tianyou”,“Renying”,“Futu”,“Tianzhu” and “Tianfu”, and then screened the retrieved documents anddovetailed the eligible documents and did analysis.Results:467documents were used in the research. The distribution of the systemsrelated is as follows:94for neural system,41for motion system,43for ENT,20fordigestive system,6for circulatory system,5for anesthesia,4for endocrine system, and3for Mammary gland disease.49kinds of disease are involved in the research, and the top10are stroke, laryngitis, cervical spondylosis, hiccups, dizziness, occipital neuralgia, throatthough, anesthesia, hypertension, and acute thoracic lumbar sprain.Conclusion: Tianyou five points are widely used in clinical practice, and have goodcurative effect. In clinical the five points are mostly used separately or compared withanother, but hardly used all together. This study shows that Tianyou five points are mostwidely used in the application of neural system and motion system.
