Objective:(1) To investigate the influencing factors of preventing the mother-tochild transmission measures of HIV/AIDS in the minority areas affected by the lo w socioeconomic development.(2) To describe and analyze HIV/AIDS/PMTCT kno wledge,attitudes,and perceptions and identify personal risk behavior of pregnant Uy gur women.Methods: The study on the site selection in the 4 the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region City AIDS relative high prevalence county including Yining ci ty,Kuche county,Yecheng county,Changji city,Autonomous Region as the research fie ld.For the 2008-2013 period accept midwifery services in the sites,HIV antibody de tection,prenatal care, prevention of mother to child transmission of AIDS service ha s been confirmed for infants under the age of 5 HIV positive pregnant women and their delivery as the object of study in strict accordance with the informed consen t,confidentiality in a sealed, quiet, comfortable consulting room for one to a face-to-face questionnaire survey. Data was analyzed by using the SPSS17.0 and Epidata3.1. Results: 182 cases among HIV positive mother in the survey, for the 2008-2013 period found 122 cases of HIV –positive before pregnancy, found 37 cases of pre gnancy, found in 15 patients during delivery, postpartum found in 8 case.70 cases of maternal pre-pregnancy for Antiviral Therapy(2? =0.511,P=0.475>0.05), 144 cas es of Antiviral Treatment during pregnancy(2? =26.849,P<0.0001), 84.6% of babies taking antiretroviral drugs(2? =21.026,P<0.0001), 91.2% baby who followed Arti ficial Feeding methods. 182 cases among HIV positive mothers and their babies 25 got diagnosed HIV-positive.For HIV mother-to-child transmission rate and relevant factors analysis showed:age of mother, economic income, Occupation of husband, Mother’s health, children’s health, Delivery place,use the mother-to-child transmissio n of HIV/AIDS prevention, Consulting the satisfaction,The problem of compliance of AIDS has been statistically significant differences for the occurrence of mother-t o-child transmission of HIV/AIDS. Conclusions: Uygur HIV positive mother route of tranmission in heterosexual transmission,based on the age 18 to 38 years old, d egree of junior high school. Spouses of HIV positive and has the history of drug abuse in mother to child transmission of AIDS plays an important role.The South and North Xinjang as the basic living conditions of the poor in remote areas,econo mic backwardness, unsafe sex is serious problem lead and promote AIDS popular Uygurs’ society.Prevention of poor awareness of AIDS knowledge, the main reason is the low level,defense consciousness is weak, insufficient attention to AIDS. Ear ly pregnancy for maternal HIV testing is a key link in the process of efforts to pr event mother-to-child transmission of HIV/AIDS, through provide lyning-in women with prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV/AIDS intervention services, reducing mother-to-child HIV transmission rate, reduce children’s new infection of AIDS. For a variety of full attention must be paid to the possible influence factors,and it is necessary to do further research.
