Objective:To observe prevention and treatment effect of Cistanche Phenylethanoid glycosides (CPhGs) to bovine serum albumin (BSA)-induced liver fibrosis in rats, and provide the basis for the development of Anti Hepatic Fibrosis Mechanism of Cistanchephenylethanol glycoside compounds and related health care products or medicines. Methods:Using intravenous injection of BSA immunity induced rat liver fibrosis model. Meanwhile, orally administered to rats CPhGs extract for 12 weeks, after the last administration of abdominal aortic blood, remove the liver and spleen. Calculation of liver indices and spleen indices, serum indexes of liver function of rat liver tissue detection, Rob proline content and liver pathological histology changes. Results:Weight of liver fibrosis model group rats significantly reduced, the liver index increased significantly, serum AST, ALP,TB, DB content increased significantly, serum TP, ALB content decreased significantly,the content of HYP in liver tissue was increased, compared with normal control group, with significant difference (P<0.05). Fufangbiejiaruanganpian positive control group and different dose of CPhGs group rats liver index were significantly decreased, CPhGs in different dose groups of rat spleen index decreased significantly, CPhGs in different dose group rats serum ALT, AST, ALP, TB, DBcontent decreased significantly, CPhGs in different dose group rats serum TP, ALB content was obviously increased, HYP content of liver tissue of different dose of CPhGs groupdecreased significantly, compared with group of liver fibrosis model with statistically significant differences(P< 0.05). Comparison between groups showed,ALT of high dose group was obviously lower than that inlow dose group, high dose group, the content of ALP was lower in middle dose group,with significant difference(P< 0.05).CPhGs can make the BSA induced liver fiber hyperplasia in rats significantly reduced. Normal control group rats liver tissue showed no abnormalities, liver fibrosis model group rats showed Ⅲ~Ⅳ stage of fibrosis, collagen fibers extending connection, surrounded the entire lobules of liver to normal destruction of hepatic lobules, false lobule, but mainly to generous type pseudo lobule. CPhGs high,low, in treatment group the treatment effect is significant, biopsy revealedmorphology basically close to the normal control group. Conclusion: saline Cistanche phenylethanol glycosides can protect liver cells, maintenance of liver function, prevention and treatment of liver fibrosis. |
