Fingerprint Analysis Of Serum Protein In Xinjiang Uygur S’ And Han’s Thyroid Cancer

Objective:Detect and compare the thyroid cancer and benign thyroid nodules of Uygur, serum protein fingerprint of Uygur’s thyroid cancer and Han’s thyroid cancer, screening different ethnic-specific protein markers of thyroid cancer in Uygur and Han. Methods:Use the technology of Two-dimensional polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (2D-PAGE), establish the protein expression profiles of Uygur’s and Han’s thyroid cancer and Uygur’s thyroid nodules, cross comparing two groups of samples by image analysis software, use liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry coupling techniques (LC-MS/MS) for the identification of differential protein and search the protein’s name, cellular localization and functional classification in Swiss-prot database. Results:There are eleven protein differential expressions by comparison of Uygur thyroid cancer patients’ serum,and benign thyroid nodules in which complement C3,C4b,HPX and JGFALS up-regulated expressed in the serum of Uygur patients with thyroid cancer, thea2-macroglobulin etc seven kinds of proteins down-regulated expressed. There are seven kinds of proteins differential expressed by comparison of serum of Uygur’s and Han’s thyroid cancer patients, in which transferrin up-regulated expressed in the serum of Uygur patients with thyroid cancer, regulate the expression of, cytokeratin-1 etc six kinds of proteins down-regulated expressed in serum of Uygur patients with thyroid cancer. Conclusion:Combined screening of heme-binding protein, α2- macroglobulin, transferrin protein etc multiple labeled protein may provide the basis for the diagnosis of Uygurs’and Han’s thyroid cancer.
