| Objective:To investigate the influence of the ApoE gene and promoters polymorphisms on CHD in Xinjiang Kazak. Providing the genetic evidence for the minorities of Xinjiang Kazak in the prevention and treatment of coronary heart disease, thereby helping the local clinical work in Xinjiang. Methods:104 cases with CHD and 100 cases of healthy were selected in this study. Collecting 3mL fasting blood specimens from them. Then using the PCR methods and SNP classification technology to research ApoE gene and promoters polymorphisms.Serum lipid levels were acquired by biochemical methods. Clinical data, classification results and the correlation with CHD respectively using SPSS 17.0 software and Logistic regression analysis. Results: 1.The distribution of alleles and promoter is accord with Hardy Weinberg law. The ApoE genotype distribution in addition to type ε2/2, contains s2/3, ε2/4, ε3/3, ε3/4, s4/4 genotypes. The x2 test and logistic regression analyses showed insignificant differences in association of ApoE polymorphisms with CHD(P>0.05).3.No statistical significance of ApoE promoters polymorphisms between CHD group and control (P>0.05). There is no correlation between promoters polymorphisms and CHD by Logistic regression analysis (P>0.05). Conclusions:1.The ApoE genotype distribution in Kazak is similar to other Asian populations.2. The distribution of ApoE promoter polymorphism in Kazak is similar with Han in Xinjiang.3.The relationship of ApoE and promoter polymorphisms with CHD is not verified. |
