The comorbidity between Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Internet Addiction Disorder is much higher than the respective incidence, that is to say, ADHD and IAD may be the causal relationship. In addition, previous research results show that Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder patients are similar to Internet addicts in the ways of cognition deficit and motivation disorder. Is it the defect that makes ADHD easier to become Internet addiction disorder? Whether there exists sensitive cognition deficit group or sensitive motivation disorder group? And what is the development of the internet addiction of the two groups? However, previous researches may take a single effect of disorder into consideration, and cannot analyze the reason of the high comorbidity. With the Dual Pathway Model as theory basis, the study will use the classical task paradigm, observe the behavior of ADHD patients in cognition deficit dimension and motivation disorder dimension, divide them into different kinds of sensitive type, then track the network usage of these ADHD patients, and explore the contribution of the sensitive variables to ADHD internet addiction. Meanwhile, this paper will study a thousand participants, finish the cross-lagged analysis of two scales’scores, and discuss the predictive relation between ADHD patients and internet addictions in normal people. The research procedures and results are shown below:In the first study, we screened subjects with ADHD through questionnaires, a structured interview and the Integrated Visual and Auditory Continuous Performance Test (CPT), screening 55 subjects with ADHD and 26 normal subjects. Based on the Dual Pathway Model, the study used the Stop-signal task and the N-back task to investigate the response inhibition and working memory, which are related to the cognitive processing function of ADHD and IAD. The Balloon Analogue Risk Task and the Delay Discounting Task were also used to explore characteristics of motivation style of the ADHD. The result shows that the-0.5 cut-off point of CIAS has good sensitivity and specificity and then the subjects of ADHD can be divided into cognition deficit group, motivation disorder group and comorbidity group.Research two, based on research one, to find out the cause relationship between the ADHD symptom and internet addiction tendency, and which group of participants with ADHD are more likely to be internet addition disorder, all the participants with ADHD and the control group filled out the CIAS-R questionnaire that test the tendency of Internet addiction 2times in six months. The results show that the motivation disorder group was significantly higher than cognition deficit group and normal group on the CIAS scores. Through the cross-lagged regression analysis, we analyzed the relationship between ADHD behaviors and Internet Addiction Tendency. From the above results, the ADHD symptom especially the delay aversion and impulsivity trait of ADHD can predicted significantly the internet addiction tendency.
