Objective : In this article, through clinical observation and isolated cell experiment, study the prevention and treatment of renal fibrosis of rhodiola rosea curative effect and mechanism of action.Method:1 Clinical research: Acquisition in changchun university of Chinese medicine affiliated hospital for treatment of patients with chronic glomerulonephritis, TCM syndrome differentiation of spleen and kidney deficiency type 60 cases for clinical observation, referring to the diagnostic criteria of syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine, observe the patients before and after medication of proteinuria, hematuria, and improvement of syndromes, clear rhodiola in clinical curative effect of prevention and treatment of renal fibrosis.2 Experimental study: The in vitro human renal tubular epithelial cells(HKC), use the TGF-Beta 1 induced HKC cells ectomesenchymal cells epithelial cells-(EMT), determined by MTT test cell proliferation, immune cell chemical method to detect the expression of a- SMA, enzyme immunosorbent method to detect cells that the supernatant fluid ColⅠand ColⅢ levels.Result:1 Clinical research results: After treatment, patients’ biochemical indexes, creatinine, urea nitrogen, 24 h urine protein, urine red blood cell count, quantitative measures such as improved significantly; Edema, lumbar acid, stay and other clinical symptoms improved significantly; The clinical efficacy of treatment group was obviously better than the control group; Rhodiola rosea can effective prevention and control of chronic glomerulonephritis disease progression; Prompt rhodiola has the clinical curative effect of prevention and treatment of renal fibrosis.2 Test results: The concentration of TGF-β1 to 10ng/ml can be induced HKC cells proliferation,HKC cells differentiation, the active ingredient in rhodiola rosea rhodiola glucoside can inhibit TGF-beta HKC cells proliferation induced by 1, HKC cells turn differentiation; At the same time can inhibit renal tubular epithelial extracellular matrix components ColⅠand ColⅢ,the synthesis of collagen type a-SMA expression;To play the role of the prevention and treatment of renal fibrosis.Conclusion: Rhodiola can to a certain extent, the formation of the prevention and treatment of renal fibrosis, delay the progress of renal fibrosis and its mechanism may be through inhibiting the expression of a- SMA, Col Ⅰ and Col Ⅲ the influence of the synthesis of collagen type, play the role of prevention and treatment of renal fibrosis.
