With the rapid development of medical system reform and technology, more and more attention to the hospital with advanced equipment and comfortable quality service experience to build brand image and visibility. Through the service of advanced equipment of the hospital medical staff were standardized and effective management of hospitalized patients and to provide timely and effective services is one of the important measures taken by the hospital.The survey on the other hand, using the most hospital ward call system and cable type compared with the old solution. The traditional equipment, single function, high cost of installation and maintenance, and some after years of use have been aging, poor contact and other hazards, so that doctors and nurses can not guarantee to the patient to provide timely service. Hope that through the introduction of advanced equipment, urgent need to improve the management level and provide high quality service in the hospital, and the hospital ward calling device has been unable to provide effective services, this paper puts forward a set of solutions: wireless ward calling system.In order to solve the drawbacks of current cable call solutions exist, at the same time for the patient to provide convenient services, the wireless solution to replace the wired solutions,and will call a fixed wireless calling terminal upgrade for small volume, wearable. To this end,this paper analyzes the WiFi, Bluetooth, ZigBee and other several current mainstream wireless solutions, by comparison, the final choice of low power consumption, low rate, low cost, high reliability, high security, high flexibility, and can expand the network and remote upgrade of the ZigBee solution. ZigBee communication technology has been more than 10 years of development, now it is already quite mature, in industrial control, intelligent home, medical electronics and wearable equipment is widely used.In this paper, the design of the wireless ward calling system mainly includes two parts, one part is the PC monitoring platform is composed of information monitoring center, on the other hand, ZigBee wireless communication network composed of wireless nodes, the nurse patient call node, router and coordinator. The PC monitoring platform can call state real-time monitoring of the patients, and to call but did not receive timely alarm, nursing, patient to nurse service evaluation and summary information. ZigBee wireless communication network to ensure the smooth of the underlying network, the patient will send call information, service information and evaluation information confirmed by routing to forward to the node and PC monitoring platform, and will send the PC monitoring platform greeting, the nurse work arrangements promptly sent to the corresponding nodes and wireless call patients the nurse node. In the system design, the hardware circuit design of function modules are discussed in detail based on the analysis of signal integrity, RF antenna selection, each node, and each node is shown photos of the completed debugging. At the same time also shows that the realization of the principle of the circuit and the software flow chart of the software part, the AES encryption technology. For the PC monitoring platform, using object-oriented VB software combined with SQL Server database development, and shows the function interface screen shots monitoring platform. Then, the hardware and software of the system is debugged and tested the system, including network communication distance test, nodes use time test and data transmission function test, and gives the test record.At the end of this paper, list the research results of this paper, gives the system design summary and outlook. The results of this study not only applies to the hospital ward, a little improvement can be widely applied to the wireless security, environmental monitoring, large parking lot management, hotel rooms, teaching question answer call and so on, therefore, has a broad prospect of application.
