Objective:To investigate the related factors of the inpatients with different et hnic eye diseases in our hospital.Methods:to extract the 2013 January 1,2013 to December 31,2520 cases ophthalmic hospital medical records of patients, accordi ng to gender, age, occupation, region, nation, admission time, discharge time, hospi talization expenses, discharge diagnosis index statistics. Using the Microsoft Excel d atabase collation, sorting and statistical and data SPASS-19.0 statistical software for statistical analysis, investigate the composition of different national ophthalmopathy patients gender, age, occupation, region and to explore the different national opht halmopathy composition of hospitalized patients with the disease, and the main dis ease of Department of Ophthalmology include cataract, vitreous and retinal diseases, glaucoma, ocular trauma related factors were analyzed. Results:2520 cases of hos pitalized patients with ophthalmopathy, Han and Uygur patients accounted for the 1 argest proportion, Han, Uygur=1.34:1; sex ratio was 1.09:1 and distribution of dif ferent diseases of gender difference (x2=80.91, P< 0.05). Male patients to vitreous and optic network membrane disease, ocular trauma seen; female patients to glauc oma is more common; elderly patients in ocular diseases hospitalized patients acco unted for a larger proportion; professional to back retired personnel, farmers and h erdsmen, workers; ophthalmopathy patients mainly come from outside the city. The first ten diseases were lens disease, retina disease, glaucoma, ocular trauma, eyelid disease, conjunctival disease, grape membrane disease, angle of scleral disease, op tic nerve and visual disease, lacrimal device disease. Different ethnic groups hospita lization disease distribution have significant difference (x2=18.11,P< 0.05), but stil 1 can be seen, different national eye hospital patients with four diseases are disord ers of lens, vitreous and retinal diseases, glaucoma, ocular trauma. Conclusion:the characteristics of the disease constitution of the hospitalized patients with the dise ase in our hospital were basically the same as the other results.. There were signifi cant differences in the constitution of the diseases among different nationality patie nts. This study reflects the structure and distribution features of eye diseases in our hospital, provide the basis for our hospital ophthalmology department construction and rational utilization of health resources, also provides new information on the epidemiology for Xinjiang eye disease prevention and treatment research.
