Objective:To investigate the abnormal expression of serum miR-21,miR-214, miR-106a and miR-378 in renal cell carcinoma and its clinical significances.Metho ds:Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) was used to detect the expression of serum miR-21,miR-214,miR-106a and miR-378 in different grou ps including 35 RCC patients,20 patients with benign renal tumor and 20 controls. Patients and controls are all from department of Urology of the first hospital of Xinjiang Medical University. And that RCC patients are detected preoperatively and postoperatively. Analyze the expression of serum miR-21,miR-214,miR-106a and m iR-378 both in carcinoma tissues and normal tissues from 30 RCC patients. Mean while, analyze the relationship between the expression levels of miRNAs of four ki nds and RCC clinic pathological features. Results:1.Results showed statistical signi ficance that the expression of miR-21,miR-214 and miR-378 were higher in renal c ell carcinoma tissues than that in normal tissues, and the expression of miR-106a was lower in normal tissues, p<0.05.2.Results showed statistical significance that t he expression of miR-21,miR-214 and miR-378 were higher in RCC patients than that in patients with benign renal tumor and the controls, and the expression of miR-106a was also lower in patients with benign renal tumor and the controls, p <0.05.3. Results showed statistical significance that the expression of miR-21,miR-214 and miR-378 in postoperative RCC patients were Progressive declining, and th e expression of miR-106a in postoperative RCC patients were Progressive rising, p <0.05.4.There is no statistical correlation in the expression of miR-21,miR-214,miR-106a and miR-378 in RCC patients, p>0.05.5.The difference of expression of ser um miR-21,miR-214,miR-106a and miR-378 showed statistical significance in such factors as clinical stage, surgical approach and the degree of differentiation, p<0.05. However, the difference in gender, age and ethnicity showed no statistical signific ance, p>0.05. Conclusion:That the expression of miR-21,miR-214 and miR-378 w ere higher preoperatively and lower postoperatively; the expression of miR-106a w as lower preoperatively and higher postoperatively. They can be beneficial to the di agnosis and detection of curative effects for RCC patients and a valuable biomarke r.
