Objectives: The study is to observe the effect of Fructus xanthii decoction flushing the nasal on treatment of the allergic rhinitis with pulmonary qi deficiency-cold, and explore the clinical application of corresponding treatment and curative effect.Methods: Collected from June 2013- July 2014 in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine’s outpatients in the department of ENT.Select 92 cases of pulmonary qi deficiency-cold type of allergic rhinitis patients who accord with the inclusion criteria. Cases were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, the treatment group(46 cases) treated with 40℃ Fructus xanthii decoction for nasal cavity irrigation, the control group(46 cases) treated with 40℃ normal saline for nasal cavity irrigation,and all cases treatment three times a day for 10 days. Observed the change of the two groups of patients’ clinical symptoms and physical signs between pre and post treatment,which were scored with “Quantified Symptom-complex differentiation”,using statistical analysis of score changes,and draw a conclusion.Results: After the treatment the total effective rate in treatment group was 80.49% and51.16% in the control group. There was a significant statistical differences between the two groups ‘ scores improved of clinical symptoms and physical signs, the treatment group was better than control group,otherwise,there is no statistical significance on the incidence of adverse reactions.Conclusion:The nasal cavity irrigation with Fructus xanthii decoction treatment of the allergic rhinitis with pulmonary qi deficiency-cold’s curative effect is better than that of normal saline for nasal cavity irrigation treatment efficacy.
