Objective: To explore the correlation between PC cell-derived growth factor, vascular endothelial growth factor and Thymidine kinase1 in sera of patients with clinical pathological parameters, and to estimate their combined diagnostic value of lung cancer.Methods: Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) was used to detect the content of PCDGF and VEGF in sera from 123 case of lung cancer patients, 60 patients with benign lung disease and 61 healthy controlled persons, while analyzing the clinical correlation with lung cancer. At the same time, use the Enzyme immunoassay point mark chemiluminescence method was used to detect the content of TK1.Results: The contents of PCDGF, VEGF and TK1 in sera of lung cancer were 18.27(6.24, 58.86) ng/m L, 1072.73(272.42, 2 686.46) ng/m L, 1.21(0.21, 8.21)pmol/L, significantly higher than those in benign lung disease and the healthy controlled persons(H respectively were 81.349, 85.769, 18.818, P<0.05). The contents of PCDGF in serum were statistically significant with tumor stage and lymph node metastasis(Z=8.063, 2.488, P<0.05). VEGF level were also statistically significant for distinguishing different histological types of lung cancer(Z=6.634, P<0.05). The levels between PCDGF and VEGF in sera of lung cancer have no significant linear correlation by linear correlation analysis(r=0.017, P=0.786>0.01). The sensitivity and accuracy of PCDGF for the lung cancer diagnosis was 83.7% and 70.9% respectively, both higher than 27.3% and 49.5% of TK1. The specificity of TK1 was 90.7% which higher than 60.3% of the PCDGF. Three combined index-PCDGF, VEGF and TK1 has the highest sensitivity(85.7%).Conclusion: The content of PCDGF, VEGF and TK1 are significantly increased in the sera of patients with lung cancer, and PCDGF associated with lung cancer stage, lymph node metastasis. PCDGF diagnostic sensitivity of lung cancer is higher than that of VEGF and TK1. Prompting PCDGF in serum in patients with lung cancer has certain clinical application value of detection. So PCDGF can be used as a potential sera marker for the lung cancer diagnosis and the evaluation of malignant degree.
