The Correlation Study On The TCM Syndrome Type And TCM Constitution Type In Lingnan Area Patients With Stomach

BackgroundStomach pain is a common clinical medical disease of traditional Chinese medicine, modern medicine more than the abdominal pain as the primary symptom of acute or chronic gastritis, peptic ulcer, gastric cancer, the category of diseases such as functional dyspepsia vest in stomach. Stomach pain is a high rates disease in the global, more syndrome type, easy to treat and prevent and less harmful to the body early. The late complication is more, such as prone to gastrointestinal bleeding, gastrointestinal perforation, pyloric obstruction and canceration. Stomach have disease slow, long duration and deferment painless, easy to relapse. Current constitution studies suggests stomach syndrome type of traditional Chinese medicine is closely related to the individual constitution,under the guidance of the idea of "cure not ill",in order to prevent and treat the incidence of stomach pain, reduce the recurrence rate and AiBianLv stomachache. For living in similar climate, living custom similar lingnan area special group, through the analysis of the TCM syndrome type of stomach pain and physical distribution of traditional Chinese medicine, to explore a possible correlation between them, and provide clinical reference basis for individualized prevention and treatment of stomachache.ObjectiveApply constitution theory of TCM to TCM internal medicine diseases, analysis the distribution of lingnan area stomachache TCM syndrome types and the TCM constitution type, through statistical analysis, to explore the correlation between them, so as to provide clinical basis for individualized treatment prevention of stomach, and enhance the therapeutic effect of traditional Chinese of stomach.MethodAdopt the method of epidemiological cross-sectional study, select 300 cases of stomach pain patients completed the TCM symptom integral scale and the constitution of TCM scale, compare stomach proportion of different constitution types in different syndrome types, to study the possible correlation between them, for the treatment and prevention of stomachache provide reliable clinical basis. Using the statistical software SPSS13.0 database to obtain the result through statistics analysis adopting the x2 test.Result1. The frequency of the syndromes of stomachache patients in descending order is:syndrome of dampness heat blocking middle jiao(33.7%)>syndrome of liver qi invading stomach(28.3%)>syndrome of deficient cold of spleen and stomach(21.0%)>syndrome of diet injury stomach(7.7%)>syndrome of cold pathogen invading stomach(4.7%)>syndrome of yin deficiency of stomach(4.0%) >syndrome of stasis in stomach collateral (0.7%).2. The frequency of TCM constitution types in stomachache patients in descending order is:wetness-heat type(24.7%)>gentleness type(20.0%)> qi-depression type (17.3%)>qi-deficiency type (13.3%)>yang-def iciency type (8.3%)>phlegm-wet type (8.0%)>yin-deficiency type (6.7%)>blood-stasis type(1.0%)>special inherited type(0.7%).3. Wetness-heat type is common in syndrome of dampness heat blocking middle jiao, accounting for about 42.6%, and in turn, is gentleness type(18.8%), phlegm-wet type(12.9%); qi-depression type is common in syndrome of liver qi invading stomach, accounting for about 40.0%, and in turn, is gentleness type(17.6%), yang-deficiency type(12.9%);qi-deficiency type and gentleness type are common in syndrome of deficient cold of spleen and stomach, accounting for about 34.9% and 31.7%, and in turn, is wetness-heat type(14.3%), yang-deficiency type (11.1%).4. syndrome of dampness heat blocking middle jiao is common in Wetness-heat type, accounting for about 58.1%, and in turn, is syndrome of deficient cold of spleen and stomach、syndrome of diet injury stomach, both about 12.2%; syndrome of deficient cold of spleen and stomach is common in gentleness type, accounting for about 33.3%, and in turn, is syndrome of dampness heat blocking middle jiao (31.7%), syndrome of liver qi invading stomach (25.0%); syndrome of liver qi invading stomach is common in qi-depression type, accounting for about 65.4%, and in turn, is syndrome of dampness heat blocking middle jiao (21.2%);syndrome of deficient cold of spleen and stomach is common in qi-def iciency type, accounting for 55.0%, and in turn, are syndrome of dampness heat blocking middle jiao and syndrome of liver qi invading stomach, both about 12.5%.5. The TCM syndrome types of stomach pain distribution and relationship with sex have statistical sense (P<0.05), and was no statistically significant difference with age (P>0.05); the TCM constitution type distribution and relationship with sex and age also have statistical sense (P<0.05)ConclusionThe common TCM syndrome types of stomach pain patients are syndrome of dampness heat blocking middle jiao、syndrome of liver qi invading stomach and syndrome of deficient cold of spleen and stomach;the common TCM constitution types of stomach pain patients are wetness-heat type, gentleness type, qi-depression type, qi-deficiency type. We find that the patients of wetness-heat type are easy for syndrome of dampness heat blocking middle jiao, the patients of qi-depression type are esay for syndrome of liver qi invading stomach, and the patients of qi-deficiency type and gentleness type are easy for syndrome of deficient cold of spleen and stomach. This research through analysis of the Lingnan area patients TCM syndrome types and the TCM constitution types of stomach pain correlation, combined with arguing disease, syndrome and body. Based on the patient’s constitution of intervention and adjustment, we can improve the effect of TCM treatment of stomachache and decrease the recurrence rate and AiBianLv.
