It was given extracorporeal-shock wave treatment(intension 0.16mJ/mm2,25 times in one minute,2000 impulses per time,). The treatment was once a week, four weeks of observation. And they are treated by herbal medicine as well, qi stagnancy and blood stasis type given by QianliexianTang, downward damp-heat type given by LongdanxieganTang, one dose per day, water to 150-200ml, four weeks of observation. The parameters such as NIH-CPSI, VAS, IPSS, IIEF-5, VAS were investigated before and after treatment. Using statistical software of SPSS19.0, we analyzed the parameters before and after the treatment to research that if the changes were statistical significances or not.ResultsAll patients had no problems during follow-ups.The effective power of NIH-CPSI, IPSS, IIEF was 71.42%、42.85%、21.42% respectively. After the treatment, the NIH-CPSI,IPSS, VAS score points all decreased, there was a significant difference(P<0.01), that means it can relieve the patients obviously in the pain, urinary symptoms and improve the qualities of lives, for IIEF score points, there was not a significant difference (P>0.01), that means it doesn’t influence the functions of erection.ConclusionAfter ESWT and TCM treatment, it can relieve the patients obviously in the pain, urinary symptoms and improve the qualities of lives, and it is worthy to be popularized and used in clinic.
