Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of rESWT in the treatment of type ? prostatitis. Methods:Ninety patients with type ? prostatitis were randomly divided into three groups:30 in the rESWT group,30 in the drug group, and 30 in the combined treatment group. The rESWT group was treated with rESWT.The number of shock wave shocks was 3,000 per treatment, once a week, and 4 consecutive weeks of treatment was a course of treatment(a total of 4 treatments). The drug group was treated with conventional drugs. The combined treatment group was given rESWT Combined drug therapy(the treatment equipment and treatment steps are the same as those of the rESWT group, and the usage and dosage of the treatment drugs are the same as those of the drug group).Three groups of patients were collected before treatment,1 week after the end of treatment,1 month after the end of treatment,3 months after the end of treatment, and 6 months after the end of treatment. The chronic prostate inflammation score(NIH-CPSI)and the international prostate symptom score(IPSS)were collected.Digital pain score(NRS-11),international erectile function index(IIEF-5),and premature ejaculation index(CIPE).The effects of the three treatment regimens were evaluated by comparing changes in the indexes before and after treatment and the cure rate. Results:In the group comparison, the NIH-CPSI,IPSS,and NRS-11 scores at the four follow-up time points after the three treatments were significantly improved compared with the previous ones, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),but CIPE and IIEF The-5 score was not significantly different from that before treatment(P>0.05).In the comparison between the groups, the NIH-CPSI scores at the four follow-up time points after treatment in the combination group were significantly lower than those in the rESWT group and the drug group(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between the rESWT group and the drug group(P>0.05).In terms of IPSS scores, the IPSS scores of the combined group were not significantly different from those of the rESWT group and the drug group at 1 week after treatment(P>0.05),but the IPSS scores at 1 month,3 months, and 6 months after treatment were higher than rESWT.Group, drug group were significantly reduced(P<0.05),while there was no significant difference between rESWT group and drug group(P>0.05);in terms of NRS scores, the NRS-The 11 score was significantly lower than the drug group(P<0.05),but there was no difference between the rESWT group and the combined group(P>0.05).In addition, with NIH-CPSI<9 as the cure standard, the clinical cure rates of the three groups of patients were not significantly different at 1 week and 1 month after treatment(P>0.05),but rESWT and combination were at 3 and 6 months after treatment. The cure rate in the group was significantly higher than that in the drug treatment group(P<0.05),while there was no significant difference between rESWT and the combined group(P>0.05).In this study, patients in the rESWT group did not report adverse reactions during and after treatment, while a few patients in the drug group and the combined group experienced mild dizziness and dry mouth discomfort. Conclusion:The results of this study indicate that rESWT is safe and effective in the treatment of CPPS.For CPPS patients with symptoms of urination,rESWT combined with medication may have better efficacy;for patients with CPPS mainly with symptoms of pain,rESWT may have better efficacy;rESWT has no obvious sexual function for CPPS influences.
