According to frequency for analysis of this database, the conventional acupuncture therapy to treat acne involves 78 acupoints, the use of acupoint frequency is 1725 times, including fourteen meridian point, ashi point, and extra-meridian points (such as Zigong, Taiyang, Yintang etc.).The top five frequency of use is Hegu, Quchi, Zusanli, Dazhui, Feishu.
