Discussion About Relational Hospitalization

China is a typical society of human relationship, the human relationship and face in China are essential to understand the psychologies and behaviors of Chinese people. In contemporary China, the word "relationship" should be taken into consideration when some social phenomena and events are to be explained profoundly. The dissertation is intended to use sociological analysis to study "the relational hospitalization" and express the results of doctors and patients who pro and con "the relational hospitalization".The following research methods are adopted in the dissertation:the study of documents, the study of interviews, and the study of human’s behaviors. The aim of this dissertation is to study the opinions of "the relational hospitalization" in medical staffs and the patients and relations, the results of the research are summarized as follows:there are 66.7% votes for and 33.3% against "the relational hospitalization" in medical staffs; the voting of the patients and relations are 85.7% in favor,14.3% against. In the foundation of the study and data, the dissertation is through tradition, credibility of doctors and patients and so on to prove the roots of "relational hospitalization":"relationship" is the most important reason to accept "relational hospitalization" to some medical staffs who have long credentials of medical service; the reason to some junior medical staffs who want to accept "relational hospitalization" are getting more clinical experience and getting acquainted with more people; to most patients and relations, having no credibility of unfamiliar doctors is the foremost reason in favor of "relational hospitalization".In the foundation of study and analysis of causes, this dissertation shows the negative consequences of " relational hospitalization ", including four facets:the first is operation of medical institutions, the second is distribution of medical resources, the third is "medical introducer", and the last is doctor-patient contradiction. The last part discusses the means of building the harmonious relationship of doctors and patients.There are worthy to do the research of the negative effect of "relational hospitalization" and the solution of " relational hospitalization " to construct harmonious relationship of doctors and patients.
