ObjectiveIn this study, the impact of the Acupotomy combined with Manipulation treatment on Knee osteoarthritis clinical symptoms of arthralgia, dysfunction and so on were researched. Further study the effect of Acupotomy combined with Manipulation treatment on Knee osteoarthritis were carried out, which aims to provide clinical basis for generalization of the treatment in local region.MethodThe American College of Rheumatology 1995 revised diagnostic criteria was used as the diagnosis standard of the Knee osteoarthritis. All 60 patients as the research objects were informed consent and randomly divided into two groups, whom met the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria. The treatment group was under the Acupotomy combined with Manipulation treatment, including 30 cases of 13 male and 17 female. The control group was under the Acupuncture combined with Herbal Penetration therapy, including 30 cases of 12 male and 18 female. The treatment group and the control group both adopts Japanese KOA treatment effect evaluation standard and Visual Simulation to grade evaluation.Knee joint functions before and after the treatment were evaluated, and objective evaluation was formed by statistic analysis.ResultsIt can be observed that clinical symptoms of the clinical subjects improved significantly after the treatment. By statistic analysis, it showed that the clinical curative effects of treatment group total effective rate was 96.66%, and the control group’s was 77.78%, which suggested a significant efficiency between the two groups (P<0.05); The JOA score before and after treatment for the two groups decreased significantly, which suggested a statistical significance (P<0.05);The joint flexion Angle of JOA of treatment group changed more significantly than that of the control group ’s, and the difference was statistic significant (P<0.05). The VAS sores of the two groups before and after treatment were significantly decreased, which suggested a statistical significance (P<0.05);After the treatment, the JOA score of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistic significant (P<0.05);However, the VAS scores of the two group both decreased after treatment, but there was no difference (P>0.05).ConclusionAcupotomy combined with Manipulation treatment can be used to cure KOA which based on full understanding for the pathogenic, pathogenesis, pathological character of this disease. Clinical symptoms of KOA can be improved effectively with the needle knife releasing of soft tissue’s adhesion and contracture, and using Manipulation treatment for the further adjusting. At the same time, Acupuncture combined with Herbal Penetration therapy showed obvious clinical efficacy, in which the Acupotomy combined with Manipulation treatment took the most;It can be concluded that Acupotomy combined with Manipulation treatment have more significant effect on improving the symptoms of the KOA patients...
