Objective:To investigate the association between the lipid control levels and the in stent restenosis(ISR) after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods:We collected 211 cases of coronary heart disease patients after PCI during January 2012 to December 2012 in the Heart Center of The First Hospital of Lanzhou University. All the patients took oral dual anti-platelet treatment, statins routinely and reviewed the coronary angiography 3-12 months after PCI. All the patients were divided as two groups according to the results of coronary angiography review:25 cases of in stent restenosis group and 186 cases of non-in stent restenosis group. And all patients were collected peripheral blood before the first PCI and after angiography review to test the levels of total cholesterol, triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein, low-density lipoprotein by automatic biochemical analyzer to find the association between lipid levels and ISR.Results:The baseline information such as age, sex, hypertension, family history, diagnosis, smoking, drinking had no significant differences (P>0.05). And there were no significant difference in the total cholesterol, triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein protein and low-density lipoprotein levels (LDL) in the two groups (P>0.05). And the ISR group had higher diabetes mellitus group incidence (9/25) compared to the NISR group (33/186), with significance (P= 0.03).And the multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the nonstandard levels of LDL (>=1.8mmol/L of LDL levels after the angiography review, or the reduced levels of LDL were less than 50%) (OR=0.09,95% CI:0.03-0.28, P<0.01), the reduction condition of in total cholesterol(OR=3.83,95% CI:1.07-13.62, P=0.04) and the diabetes complication(OR-0.33,95% CI:0.11-0.94, P=0.04) had association with the ISR.Conclusion:The nonstandard levels of LDL and total cholesterol were the risk factors of ISR. And the diabetes complication could increase the risks of ISR significantly.
