The prevalence rate of caries in Han was 36.68% and in Tibetan, Mongolian, Uyghur were 58.19%, 51.05%, 50.42% respectively; It was statistically significant (x2=47.783, P=0.000, x2=17.877, P=0.000,χ2=16.309, P=0.000), and caries incidence in Han is less than other three minorities. There was statistical significance (x2=7.311, P<0.01) between the prevalence rates of gingivitis in Uygur (39.08%) and Han (30.30%).
