| Objective To observe the therapy effects of artificial dermis combining with autologous thin layer skin grafts(composite skin grafts) in treating the diabetic foot wounds. Methods 4 cases with diabetic foot who had taken composite skin grafting operation were involved in this stydy.Firstly, diabetic foot wound infection was controlled by using antibiotics and the debridements were performed, then grafting artific ial dermis on the wounds.1-2 weeks late after grafting artificial dermis, granulation tissue covered the wounds and exposed tendon tissue. Finally, the patient’s autologous thin layer skin were transplanted on the granulation tissue. The therapy effects were evaluated by observe several objects, such as grafting success rate of artific ial dermis and composite skin, composite skin texture, hypertophic scar after operation and so on. Results The success rate of artificial dermis in 4 cases was 98%,3 cases in 4 patients with diabetic foot wound got totally covering with composite skin, while 1 patient’s wound got partly cure. The success rate of composite skin was 95%.No obvious hypertrophic scar after composite skin grafting and the texture of composite skin is well. Conclusion Composite skin grafting on the diabetic foot wound after debridement has many advantages inc lud ing high success rate, easy operation, well texture,no obvious change of hypertrophic scar and pigment on both composite skin and doner skin area.Composite skin grafts is a new operative method to treat the diabetic foot. |
